Imagination, The Key to Magic
Visualizing Made Easy
What Is Imagination?
To sum up what imagination is, it is the divine creative spark in humans that influences us on the physical, mental, and spiritual planes. Its Google definition is described as, 'the faculty or action of forming new ideas, or images or concepts of external objects not present to the senses.'
Google's and my own definition may describe what it is on a logical level. However, the magnitude of its power can't only be described with words--it's the experience that paints the rest of the picture (pun intended).
Maya Angelou once said,"...Creativity. The more you use, the more you have."
Having such a vast amount of creative potential, opens many doors whether you see them or not. The key to opening them is literally seeing whatever you desire first--for it to eventually make its physical appearance!
A good example is observing family or friends that have watched a scary movie. Though the movie may have been fake or very exaggerated, the effects it created for its audience--a thrill--still influences them on a subtle level.
So, its very easy to joke around and scare them, since their mind is under the influence of the movie they just watched. Very fun for you, not so much them! Going more in depth, their mind was given images, sound, and other effects to create responses such as fear or suspense.
With these different effects impressed on the conscious, but more so the subconscious, the world (reality) which the director created for the movie (and audience)-- transferred to the individuals who watched the film. To an extent since the effects may not last long.
How is Imagination and Magic related?
From an occult perspective and research (resources below), the mind is the ultimate dictator of someone's reality. Which is also why its important what you teach kids, since their mind is more susceptible to programming.
I share a tad bit of detail about that in another article named Affirmations Are Easy, and to sum it up here, programming is how one operates their mind.
Where 'magic' comes is in the process of reprogramming and becoming what you desire. Which includes the physical work you put in, while the spiritual side matches your efforts, and produces the result. Very simple right?
Many would be skeptical of this type of information, however, not everyone that's successful--in their own right--has to know the science for it to work. Their own willpower, visualizing of their goals, and work ethic brought them to where they are--and it can do the same for you!
With visualization you want to use the five senses to the best of your ability to project your mind to the reality you want. For example, say your passion is to be a successful writer. With that you'd want to go into as much detail as possible.
Imagining how many books you'd write, what it'll feel like to have written many successful books, or how many book sales you'd get because everyone loves your work--is all valid. Anything you can add to your visualization, the better.
Of course the goal is to program the mind to that reality. Which means visualizing everyday with complete faith in your vision, and bringing that reality into the present moment each time. That sets up the mind to shift the universe in your favor to bring it about.
Magic doesn't use logic or rationale to produce change, since it contradicts reality by nature. Being able to 'see' yourself in a different reality, while living in the present, creates the conditions necessary to bring it forth as long as that vision stays consistent in your mind.
Reiterating again, the physical steps necessary to bring your desires to the physical is still required. You can't become a successful author if you don't write. Not to mention any challenges or obstacles you'll face on the path to living your reality, since its vital to the experience and knowledge.
Not to sound cliché but in these current times, anything is possible if you believe in yourself to make it possible. Of course as you get older some realities you desire may not be possible. Think of those past their prime wanting to be a professional athlete!
It's a small chance its possible, but at times you must come to terms with the current reality at hand and move forward. Hopefully this helps those wanting a bit of information and technique on visualizing.

Writing has been one of the ways I’ve been able to express my thoughts, maybe as a form of self-therapy. In a sense I’m able to reflect on lessons learned and many mysteries uncovered on this journey of life.
