No matter how much you ventilate, it seems like the smell in your house is never as fresh as you want it to be.

If you tried any option and nothing worked, we offer you some extremely inventive and cheap methods, through which you will be able to remove unpleasant odors from your home forever.

Oat

If you smell weird in your home, the first place you should check is the refrigerator or trash can.

Put oats in a bowl and then put the dish in the fridge or put oatmeal in the trash to absorb the smell. It's a good way to get rid of odors because you don't use chemicals.

Coal

Another way to get rid of odors and purify the air is to buy bags of charcoal to distribute around the house.

Coal not only filters odors but also removes bacteria and allergens. These bags can be used for up to a year.

Laundry softener

A laundry conditioner is an excellent product and there are many other ways to use it in the household.

Put a cup of conditioner in a pot of water, which you then boil. The fragrance will evaporate with the water and spread throughout the house. You can also use cinnamon or cloves to add a lovely scent.

Sodium bicarbonate

Baking soda has many uses in the household. Among other features, baking soda neutralizes odors but also cleans surfaces in the bathroom or kitchen very well.

Lemon

Lemon is known for its deodorizing properties and not only gives your home a fresh scent but is also an effective cleaning product for wood floors and furniture.

Flavored vinegar

When you want to remove odors from your home, it's a good idea not only to try to cover them up but also to find the source and remove it.

You can make your fragrant mixture with fresh herbs, vinegar, lemon peel, or oranges. It's an inexpensive, quick, and efficient way to make your home smell nice.

Scented oils

A method proved for millennia - essential oils! You can boil them in water, put them on a cloth or dehumidifiers. The most suitable oils are those based on citrus fruits, such as grapefruit or oranges, and herbs such as mint or eucalyptus.

Scented candles

A scented candle is always a good choice for the home, as it creates a cozy atmosphere and provides a pleasant, non-intrusive scent.

Laundry detergent

Washing machine detergent tablets can be a great solution against any unpleasant odors in your home.

Apple slices and cinnamon

If you don't feel like burning candles or using essential oils, another great way to make your kitchen smell nice is to boil a few slices of apples and cinnamon sticks in a pot with a small amount of water.

Scented wipes placed on the fan

Attaching scented wipes to the back of a fan may seem like a strange and inefficient gesture, but in fact, it has been shown to work. The light and fresh scent of scented napkins will spread throughout the room.

Vanilla sticks

Vanilla extract is not only for cooking but also for spreading a sweet scent in your home. Soak a vanilla stick in a bowl of warm water (or you can place the pot next to the radiator). It may not seem visually effective, but it certainly works.

Baked cakes

One of the easiest and most enjoyable ways for all family members to fill the house with a warm and welcoming scent is to bake something! As a bonus, you will also have a delicious dessert.

But if you don't have time to do that, you can "bake" some vanilla sticks in the oven for about 15 minutes at about 220 degrees Celsius.
