Eat a balanced diet: Focus on eating a variety of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean protein sources, and healthy fats. This can help provide your body with the nutrients it needs to function properly and reduce the risk of chronic diseases.
3.STRAY HYDRATED
Drinking enough water each day is crucial for many reasons: to regulate body temperature, keep joints lubricated, prevent infections, deliver nutrients to cells, and keep organs functioning properly. Being well-hydrated also improves sleep quality, cognition, and mood.
Stay hydrated: Drink plenty of water throughout the day to help maintain proper bodily functions, regulate body temperature, and prevent dehydration.
4.SLEEP
Sleep is a state of reduced mental and physical activity, in which consciousness is altered, and sensory activity is inhibited to a certain extent. During sleep, there is a decrease in muscle activity, and interactions with the surrounding environment are significantly reduced
Get enough sleep: Aim for 7-9 hours of sleep per night to help improve mood, cognitive function, and overall health.
5.REDUCE STRESS
Stress can be defined as a state of worry or mental tension caused by a difficult situation. Stress is a natural human response that prompts us to address challenges and threats in our lives. Everyone experiences stress to some degree.
Manage stress: Practice stress-reducing techniques such as meditation, deep breathing, or yoga to help reduce stress levels and improve mental health.
6.SOCIAL CONNECTION
What are social connections? Social connections are the relationships you have with the people around you. They may be close, like family, friends, and co-workers, or more distant, like people you know casually.
Maintain social connections: Spend time with friends and family to help improve social support, reduce stress, and improve overall well-being.
7.NO ALCOHOL AND TOBACCO :
An alcoholic beverage is a drink that contains ethanol, a type of alcohol that acts as a drug and is produced by fermentation of grains, fruits, or other sources of sugar. The consumption of alcoholic drinks, often referred to as "drinking", plays an important social role in many cultures.
Limit alcohol and tobacco use: Excessive alcohol consumption and tobacco use can increase the risk of chronic diseases and have negative effects on overall health.
8. SAFE BEHAVIOUR:
Safety behaviours are used in an attempt to prevent fears from coming true and to feel more comfortable in situations we are anxious about. If we believe that a situation will not go well, we are likely to feel anxious and to have an urge to avoid the situation.
Practice safe behaviors: Wear a seatbelt when driving, practice safe sex, and take other precautions to reduce the risk of injury or illness.
Always wear protective equipment when working around potential job hazards. Keep their workstations clean and put away their equipment in its designated locations. Follow a safety checklist and ensure that all safety protocols have been performed for every critical task.
9.HEALTH CARE
Regularly see a healthcare provider: Get regular check-ups, screenings, and immunizations to help prevent and manage health conditions.
10. POSITIVE OUTLOOK :
Positive mental attitude is a concept first introduced in 1937 by Napoleon Hill in the book Think and Grow Rich. The book never actually uses the term, but discusses the importance of positive thinking as a contributing factor of success
