If you want to keep a tidy house, the first step is to develop a daily cleaning rotation. Start by decluttering your cabinets and drawers. DON’T PROCRASTINATE :

There are a few ways to avoid procrastination when it comes to cleaning your home. First, try breaking the task down into smaller parts. If you feel overwhelmed by the thought of cleaning your entire house, start with one room or even just one section of the room.

Establish specific times for cleaning and try to stick to them as closely as possible. For example, Monday mornings might be dedicated to sweeping and vacuuming the living room, while Wednesday afternoons are set aside for for mopping the floors and cleaning your bathroom.

Make a list of the tasks that need to be done, and then rank them in order of importance. Start with the most important tasks and work your way down.

Make your bed every morning. This is the first step to having a neat day. If your bed isn’t made, your whole room looks messy and who wants to sit on an unmade bed.

Some of us are neat freaks and they love to have a tidy house. But for the rest of us, we have to put in a bit more effort. A tidy house is a happy house Freckles and Lemonade believes these are the best tips yet to keeping a tidy home.

BE ORGANIZED

There’s nothing like coming home to a beautifully organized and clean house. But let’s be honest, maintaining that level of organization can be tough. When it feels like everything is in its place and you can finally relax.

But achieving that level of organization can be tough, especially if you have a busy household. Make sure everyone has a designated spot place for their belongings. This means each family member has a specific spot for their coat, keys, laptop, etc. Having everything in its rightful place will help reduce clutter and make it easier to find things when you need them.

Invest in some good quality storage bins, baskets, shelves.

KEEP A SCHEDULE

Having a daily schedule is extremely important if you want to have a happy home. Without a schedule, it’s easy for chaos to ensue and for everyone in the family to feel overwhelmed. A schedule ensures that everyone knows what needs to be done and when it needs to be done, so there's less stress and contention.

I usually start my day by waking up early ( not to early) and making my bad. Then I’ll spend about an hour cleaning the house , vacuuming, dusting, whatever day depends on i’ll be cleaning. Then once everyone is fed. I have 2 dogs and a cat, and very hungry child so everyone must be fed before its time to start working on some projects, sometimes this might mean doing laundry or folding clothes, other times it might mean working on my blog or setting future intentions for future endeavors.

Using a calendar and following a schedule makes my life much easier. I like to use Google calendar, I have tried many believe me digital planners to paper planners, planners that are books and then there is Google Calendar extremely user friendly and well it just works! What types of planners or Calendars do you use? Let me know in the comments. I would love to know what gets you through the day and keeps you on task!

SO WHAT DO YOU THINK CAN YOU INCORPORATE SOME OF THESE HABITS INTO YOUR DAILY LIFE OR DO YOU ALREADY DO SOME OF THESE EVERYDAY HABITS. LET ME KNOW IN THE COMMENTS!

IN CONCLUSION
