"Let Go of Who You Think You're Supposed to Be and Embrace Who You Are. "  - Dr. Brene Brown

Life is not a bed of roses,  it's full of thorns. Imperfections are the gifts of life, and struggles with imperfections make life meaningful. Struggles bring a charm to life. The more you struggle,  the more you shine.

Life itself is the name of imperfection. If life had been perfect, death would not have touched anybody. So, just take that imperfections are the gifts or blessings of life. Nobody is perfect in this world. If one does not have any imperfections,  one will become God. Man is a mixture of merits and demerits, good and evil, expertise and imperfection. So, don't fret with your imperfections. Embrace who you are and be happy.

Whether it is the physical imperfection or the intellectual imperfection, it doesn't matter. What matters most is loving ourselves. Having a good knowledge about anything or everything may be critically important, but loving ourselves is the most important thing in life. It gives us a reason to progress and prosper. Living a wholehearted life is most required. Wholehearted living means having a feeling of worthiness. It means cultivating courage, compassion and connection with ourselves, thinking that we are worthy ones, accepting the imperfections and living a stress-free life. We need to think that whatever we are, we are superheroes.

Wholehearted living is a continuous process. Rather say it's a life-long journey. We may have hurdles on the way in the beginning of any journey, but we have to tackle that with courage, compassion and connection. These are the tools we need to work our way through our journey. We have to apply these tools in our daily practices. When we exercise them enough, they become incredible gifts in our lives.

The people who live wholeheartedly, deliberate their thoughts and behaviours through prayer, meditation or simply setting their intentions. They feel inspired to make new and different choices, and then they get into action. Thus, getting deliberate, inspired and going becomes their principles of life.

We have to adopt three important things in life i.e. self-compassion, acceptance and gratitude. But, only talking about these things won't help. We need to execute them on grounds. We need to exercise them in our daily life. Self-compassion means loving ourselves, setting a boundary around us, and having the courage to say NO to the things we don't like, or which hurt us. Courage sounds great, but it requires us to let go of what other people think,  that most of us feel scared to do. If we want to know why we feel scared to let our true selves be seen and known,  we have to understand the power of shame and fear. Shame and fear blocks our progress and growth.

So, let's practice courage, compassion and connection in our daily lives. It will cultivate worthiness. Remember that the key word is PRACTICE.

"Courage is like - it's a habitus, a habit, a virtue: You get it by courageous acts. It's like you learn to swim by swimming. You learn courage by couraging. "  - Mary Daly

Compassion involves learning to relax and allow ourselves to move toward what scares us. The word compassion has been derived from the Latin words PATI and CUM, meaning " to suffer with ". Actually, it is our first response to pain - ours or someone else's. It's to self- protect. We protect ourselves by looking for someone or something to blame,  or sometimes we shield ourselves by turning to judgement or by getting immediately into fix-it mode. Compassion becomes real when we recognize our shared humanity.

" Connection is the energy that exists between people when they feel seen, heard and valued; when they can give and receive without judgment; and when they derive sustenance and strength from the relationship. "  - Dr. Brene Brown

Connection begets connection. Biologically, since our birth, we need connection to thrive emotionally, physically, spiritually and intellectually. We need to keep connected with us and with people for growth and energy.

So, let's practice courage and compassion and keep connected!
