Editing video is an important step in the process of making a perfect video. Edit videos have many different ways, but we will give you the easiest ways. And we've also got plenty of options for you regarding the best video editing software to use, and the best laptops for video editing if you're looking to upgrade your machine.

How to make an interesting video or how to create a video that attracts viewers? Follow the outpost !!

#1. Cut the video

The video has unnecessary pauses so we need to cut those out. Use the remaining footage to form a streamline video. Most projects have a certain length of time, cut video will help you time compression.

#2. Choose the angle and idea

Write a script that clarifies the story you want to tell and creating a rapport for the characters with dialogue is important. From that scenario we can choose the right angle for each character to highlight them.

Please keep the camera on so that all the shots can be taken, so you can select the right shots for your final video.

#3. Close-up shots when there is dialogue

When starting a scene, we often have to cut and merge shots between different cameras to let the audience know what is happening. But footage with dialogue should use close-up shots because then the audience wants to see the characters' moods and expressions clearly rather than the wide-angle shots.

#4. Body language

On screen, the speaker can reveal a lot through body language. Moreover, each person will have their own way of speaking and rhythm in their voice. If you are a keen person to capture a character's body language through the way they speak and express it, it can give the movie a rhythm and viewers will feel the character's emotions better.

#5. Correct mistake

Even though technical corrections and speech errors are parts of the editor's job, if you can learn and do that then you'll be commended in the world of producers.

One of the fastest ways to fix the error is to cut the action. This technique uses a method of connecting and transferring scenes between different cameras.

The action cuts give the audience the impression of time, when the footage they look like is next to each other but can actually be shots that are a few days apart.

#6. Use B-roll scene

A-roll is a film roll for main scenes while B-roll is used to shoot other sub scenes in the same scene as A-roll. B-roll can be understood simply as the supporting scenes and the compensatory footage for the main scenes.

For example we have a video interview, we have a camera and we are looking directly at the camera. Imagine that is the only shot you have, and you watch the video from start to finish one frame like that. Looks pretty boring and boring, right? And I bet if the video content is not too special, just watch it for a while and you'll want to turn it off.

Now let's add another camera angle and alternate with the video. The character-to-person conversation has more angles and it will make the video more vivid to the viewer. That is the first reason we need to use B-roll.

The second reason, B-roll will be the transitions to make your video smoother. Suppose your character says something wrong or says something that you want to cut out of the video, if you cut them out using just one shot, you will notice the frame is lag.

#7. Split editing

Split editing, is the transition from one shot to another in a movie or video, in which the transition of audio and video takes place at different times.

Split editing is also used to hide transitions between scenes. They can be very effective at editing conversation scenes shot with a single camera that is used multiple times. The ability to crop images and videos separately from sound and sound allows the sound from many different angles to flow smoothly, even when the image is cropped in different places.

#8. Create the fit tempo

While working, video editors create rhythms based on their cuts. Create the rhythm of the video as well as the song that needs to be driven to a climax at the end of the song.

Editors need to crop and edit to suit the tempo they want. If the editor edits too quickly, the viewer will not be able to keep up with the information and rhythm of the story. On the contrary, if the editing is too slow, the audience will feel bored. Therefore, keeping the tempo in line with the story is essential.
