Alright, so one of the first things you need as a future college student are some pretty awesome app coverage. Knowing the generation that is going into college for the next few years, you are all going to be quite savvy with your phones. But did you know that instead of looking up stupid videos, like how to accidentally burn your hand on a flat iron, or seeing how a watermelon explodes with rubber-bands, you can actually learn things from apps and websites on your phone and the internet? Magical, I know. From 9GAG and iFunny, there are actually some apps that really help you learn. And some of the best learning doesn't even come close to the classroom. It comes from what you do on the sidelines as you battle through adulting. So, here is a list of wonderful apps you need to have or at least take a look at:

1. Duolingo

If you are taking a foreign language, this is the app to have, you can learn Spanish to Danish. Best of all, its FREE! I even learned what Kvinde means in Danish! You can learn almost any language on this website and they are always updating it. My next language is Japanese. So if you decide to take a study aboard program at your college, this is a smart way to test your knowledge on the language.

2. Quizlet

Need flashcards for the hard chem test coming up? Ouizlet has got your back! Plus, it's FREE. Every single college kid I know has found more answers on this site than anywhere else! Even the book! It quizzes you both ways as well. So if you want to have the answer read first, so you can name the definition, go for it. It has subjects for almost everything, and it will almost have exactly what you are looking for.

3. Pandora

Have a hard time studying with no music, but don't want it to be distracting? Well if you put on the Hans Zimmer radio in Pandora, there ya go! No lyrics or distracting sounds. If you are in the gym and you love pounding pop music, or rock, or whatever you are into, Pandora is the place for you. If you want it free, you have to listen to commercials, but if you want to spend either $4.99 or $12.99, you don't have to listen to commercials and you can listen exclusively from your thumbs up track.

4. StumbleUpon

This gives you sites, stories, videos, information, etc. on anything and everything that you love. You take quizzes, you learn about the economies of other countries, you see beautiful things, and you watch funny things! Very worth it, if you love information. The content is clean and based off of your preferences. You can learn about almost anything. The site has you swipe stories you enjoy and you rate them, so the site can create a better way to give you information you actually want.

5. Pinterest

This LITERALLY has everything you need, you can find anything on this site. Just take my word for it! It may have many girly things on it, but it is a site for boys too! It has information from cars to crafts and food to foot care. Even if you have a cold and don't want to call your mom, to show her you're an adult, it has all the remedies for you. It will even have home remedies, so if you're dirt poor, welcome to college, and you have to jimmy-rig your cough medicine. If you want to learn about almost anything, click on a picture on the site and you will get connected to a website or blog that has all the information you are looking for.
