These two neighbors have relations of the same kind of bitter enmity as that between India and Pakistan. A day before, North Korea fired 10 short range ballistic missiles one after the other towards North Korea's coastline.

Enraged by this, the ruler of North Korea, Kim Jong Un, fired missiles at South Korea. However, there have been no reports of any casualty due to this. Since these missiles fell in the Sea of Japan, there was a stir in Japan too.

After all, what is the matter that is not made between these two countries separated after the partition of Korea. After all, what was the reason that one Korea was divided into two countries and then the conditions of both are completely different. The two countries have never been in normal relations with each other, but there has always been tremendous tension between the two countries. A fierce battle has taken place. The border of both the neighbors is considered to be the most dangerous border in the world.

Question – How did one Korea get divided into two countries?

Korea was ruled by Japan from 1910 until the Japanese surrendered in August 1945 during World War II. Before World War II, Japan had control over a large part of Asia, including China, Vietnam, Korea to Taiwan. When Japan announced surrender to the Allied countries in World War II, immediately after that the Soviet Union The army of the Union took control of the northern part of Korea. America took the southern part. Then the struggle between communism and 'democracy' started in North and South Korea. Now North Korea is definitely a communist country with the influence of Russia and China, but the dictatorial power of one family has always been there, while South Korea is a democratic country. America is its biggest friend country. America has played a big role in its development.

Question – How were the two Korean countries divided?

When the Second World War ended, Soviet forces were gathered in the northern part of Korea and were giving air to the people associated with communism there. The then rulers of the Soviet Union wanted this area of Korea adjacent to the Soviet border to remain under their influence. Due to this, the situation happened that in the northern area in Korea, it remained frozen with the forces of the Soviet Union. America wanted elections to be held in entire Korea and government to be formed. The Soviet Union was not in its favor. America conducted elections in May 1948 as an initiative to make Korea a nation through the United Nations. The northern part did not participate in the elections. The North Korean area refused to accept this government. In September 1948, elections to the Supreme People's Assembly were held in that area under the leadership of the Soviet Union. As soon as the elections were held, North Korea announced in September 1948 to form the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (North Korea) as a separate country. Since its formation in North Korea, Kim Il-sung and his family members have dominated. Korea was definitely divided into two countries. Despite this, military and political contradictions remained in both. This struggle also appeared in the form of capitalism versus communism.

Question – Why was the politics of America and Russia more behind the division of both the countries?

In fact, in December 1945, it was agreed in the Moscow conference that the Soviet Union, China and Britain would look after the administration of Korea for five years. Then he will be set free. But this was not acceptable to the Korean people. The situation of deadlock remained. Then in 1946-47, America and the Soviet Union held talks to run the administration together, but things did not work. The same could not have come from North Korea to the South. In May 1946, a permit was arranged to go around it. The situation was such that neither the Soviet Union was ready to reduce its influence on the northern region, nor was America ready to leave the southern part just like that. When elections were held in both the countries, this line was considered as the dividing line between the two countries.
