The Best Way To Surpass 99% Of People

6-12 Months

Get brutally aware of these two things, and you'll be ahead of 99 percent of individuals in 6 to 12 months. The initial scenario is what you don't want, and the second is where you will end up. If you continue to do the same things, watch the crowds to see what happens when you don't think. It's not nice At All by any means if you do this when you watch a large group of people. Sit with your ideas and think about them. Don't just shut your mind off and believe what you observe on the surface. That's not how it works. Your lack of depth of thought is what put you into this predicament in the first place. It would be best if you thought more deeply. It's easier to figure out what you don't want through observation and experience than to figure out what you do want through fantasy, just thinking, and having big plans for the future. Don't get me wrong; I'm not saying you shouldn't have big plans for the future. I'm not giving up on those things because they are good and not harmful. I need to decide whether what I say is good or bad. Try it out for yourself to see if it's true.

Many individuals know I'm big on making plans for the future, but the most effective way is to make plans for what shouldn't happen. Having something terrible, like something you hate or that will make you angry, is essential because bad vibes are potent. You can use and change it to get what you want out of life. When you go to the gym and warm up by walking on the machine, you think, "What would my life be like without the gym?" Where might I end up if I don't give that workout my all? I just get angry, and I can sense that energy. I'm not mad isn't a bad thing. Negative feelings are not evil; they just are. They are what they are, and you shouldn't try to change them. Instead, it would help if you used them to make your anti-vision. Sit down with a notebook and pretend you're a crazy scientist. Draw everything.

Take 30 minutes and a notebook and draw everything about your future, but start applying the anti-vision. Write down everything you don't want in this life, like what you don't want to look like, what you don't want your future to be, and what you don't want your everyday life to be like. This will help you see what your goal is. Because it is the reverse of those things, your anti-vision should make you uncomfortable when you look at it or write it. You should be very worried about where you could end up in life if you don't take charge of it, and that worry should make you want to focus on one big goal or "laser in on your vision." for the future, and this should have meaning because your anti-vision is generally meaningless. It comes from doing things without thinking or doing nothing and letting entropy take over and make your life a mess. That is the most essential rule of the universe: it will fall apart if you don't make order in your life. So, in the same notebook where you wrote down your Vision for the future and your anti-vision, be the mad scientist who will work on the endeavor of your existence. Plan something. Write down precisely what you will do each day for the next week. Make the order so that chaos doesn't take over.

Next, disappear, and when I say things like "they disappear like they've been gone for six months," most people take it literally, even though most of what I say is figurative and overdone to get the point across. When I say "disappear," I don't mean that your body will just go away. I'm telling you to leave things out of your life that don't belong there. Cut them out. This could be games, apps, or bad habits. Just figure out what's holding you back, which can be done in several ways. But we've talked about it, and what has worked most effectively for me is just to rip off the Band-Aid and throw them away. All in all, you don't have to explain yourself to people who will mess with you.

Hey, bro, where did you go? Just vanish. In other words, stop being addicted to feeling like, because feeling like only has one cause, which is well. There are many reasons, but this article is about mental ones here. Not real, like something that could be caused by nutrition or food. But don't waste your mental energy on people and things that don't care about you. Instead, put that mental energy into what you want for the future because you've set up a system to stop chaos from taking over your life. The system there and keeping it up to control entropy will get you from anti-vision to Vision. To make that Vision happen, you need energy, in this case, mental energy. If that's what you want to call it.

Get used to doing the boring basics. But realize that the boring basics are not dull since most successful people do the same repetitive things daily. It's like going on to a game that simulates the natural world and doing the same thing repeatedly to level up slowly. You're killing monsters and going through dungeons, which are both the same thing. So, you need to take that into the world of reality and move the buttons that will get you to your goals. These are very important. These are not methods; they are ideas. Know that they are not dull, even if they look dull when you watch someone else do them. It's like, "Oh, this guy Dan writes for 30 minutes in the morning every day. That's so boring." Mastery is better than suffering. It's like how sushi cooks take years to get good at preparing rice, and they do it in stages. It's like how a tennis player first learns how to hold the racket in a certain way and then moves on to learning how to angle it. How to hit the ball, and you have to practice these things repeatedly and again and again. Similar to how you learned to walk until it became easy or automatic. So you have more mental ability to move on to the next thing, which will put you ahead of the people trying to get a result that typically requires 10 years to get in two weeks, which will not happen.

So, when you start something new, everyone asks, "Okay, when will I see this result?" Stop asking, "When will I be able to compete?" like a tennis player because you'll get an answer you don't want to hear, throwing you off track. Doing a project takes years or even a lifetime of trying things out and seeing what works and what doesn't. As I said in "Become a Mad Scientist," this is the heart of science. So, if you are building your life as a project, finishing it will take a lifetime. Get used to that idea.

So, this whole process of figuring out what you don't want, making a plan, going oppositely, and putting long-term success first is the origin story of Mastery. This is something you will hear in every success story. So flip the switch inside of you. New Year's is coming up, so scan the switch within you and build the basis to take you into the life you want.
