The Agape Cause: Saving the Turtles and the World
The Agape Cause was started by Erica Meyler, of New Jersey, when her passion for the environment accidentally fueled a business idea. Erica speaks on starting The Agape Cause: "I actually came up with the idea by accident. I posted a story on Instagram as a joke when I bought some metal straws, poking fun at beauty gurus when they post swatches of their new products. I was really surprised that everyone took it seriously, but looking back it was because I was always trying to spread awareness about causes I cared about, especially centered around conservation and environmentalism. It was perfect how it fell into my lap, because I was always extremely frustrated with how I felt like these issues were out of my hands and I didn’t know how to help, but this was a great way. I think most people feel that way, so my main goal is to give people the tools they need to start getting involved and feel like their efforts matter. Thats why a percentage of the proceeds from each product will be donated to the cause it was inspired by!"
Arthur's Hardware: The Quintessential Hardware Store
As a handy-man kind of guy and a husband with two young kids, I am always looking for new stores to find items that will help me around the house. My tastes are all over the map when it comes to manufacturer, cost, or even atmosphere. I like high end, and I like the local hardware shop. I like brand names, and I like start-ups. However, the one core thing they all need to have in common is great product and great service. I am sure that you are just like me.

DiversebloggerPublished 5 years ago in JournalMy Year on Vocal.Media
I can't believe that I started writing on Vocal.Media a full year ago. Throughout the year I've written 148 articles. They're mostly reviews for movies and small personal opinion pieces. Averaging it out that's almost an article every two and a half days. I didn't even think I would be able to produce articles that fast.
Brian AnonymousPublished 5 years ago in JournalHow to Fix Indeed
I use Indeed a lot. As a freelancer, it's not always easy making money on your own. I'm a writer and a blogger; though, with ad revenue, I'm only earning pennies, or what I would call "drop-in-the-bucket revenue," because that's exactly what it is—drop-in-the-bucket pay.

We knew when she stumbled in at 5 AM that she would be trouble. With an unruly mop of curly brown hair that declared open war on conventional notions of hygiene, a sallow face, and the attire of someone more likely to be a guest of a nearby condemned house, she did not possess the appearance of a normal guest. She, however, had a reservation, and that was the most relevant factor. While the normal guest at the Hilton-branded hotel would be in a dress shirt or a chic dress, money, not fashion reigned supreme. Front desk agents aren’t judges of character or arbiters of sartorial splendor. And Eugene is an odd enclave of artistic self-reproach. Barb was one of the reasons we played a game behind the desk, where we guessed whether someone was a business owner or a homeless person. You just never knew.

Chelsea B. KendrickPublished 6 years ago in JournalAre Social Media Influencers the New Actors?
Once upon a time, movie stars used to rule Hollywood. When a film needed promotion, they'd appear in newspaper articles, magazine spreads, talk shows, etc. Although not much was really known about their personal lives (thanks to a team of crafty publicists), their fans still went to see each new film. Tom Cruise, Julia Roberts, Bruce Willis, Denzel Washington, Sandra Bullock—the list goes on and on.
Natasha SydorPublished 6 years ago in JournalManaging Your IT Services Effectively
IT Services is an extremely important part of any online business or company. While the average customer is not aware of this fact, it takes a lot of money, effort, and manpower in order to devise an IT service that is effective and responsive to a variety of queries, questions, and trouble shooting. If you’re choosing to run an online website for a company, you need to make sure that you’re willing to invest in top-level talent that you’re going to pay well. The systems you’re using should be up to date as well and you should make sure that your website will never be forced to go down or suffer from a lack of servers. Without effective IT services, your website and your business won’t be as successful or profitable as you would like it to be.
