Reciprocity A New World Order

“We all know sometimes life’s hates and troubles can make you wish you were born in another time and space but you bet your life times that and twice it’s double that God knew exactly where he wanted you to be placed. So, make sure when you say you’re in it but not of it you’re not helping this earth a place sometimes called hell. Change your words into the truths and then change that truth into love and maybe our children’s grandchildren and their great-great grandchildren will tell I’ll be loving you”- As by Stevie Wonder

As these lyrics replay in my mind, I can visualize in my third eye the definition and emotion behind these words. Before the world paused there was a third home for me to go to when the external world felt as if it was unbearable to live through. That’s a warning sign from the universe that we are living outside in instead of inside out. My new address 151 W 19th St Suite 1101 NY, NY also known as The Reciprocity Foundation became my new home one year ago. During my quest to find affordable alternative healing services I came across a gold mine. The Reciprocity Foundation a nonprofit organization that holds space for people to come and be treated like the shinning star that they are. The Reciprocity Foundation was created by Taz Tagore and Adam Bucko in 2005 as a holistic health program for the social service sector of NYC that served young adults who had face trauma, homelessness and incarceration and in time they grew to assist the LGBTQ community. In 2018 Taz Tagore became the Executive Director and created the Reciprocity Wellness Space which offers trauma therapy, meditation, acupuncture, sound healing, community meals. Since 2019 this space has served over 300 people from all walks of life in New York City from domestic violence, illness, disabilities, gender transitions, immigrant trials and homelessness.

The Reciprocity Foundation still maintains focus on transforming youth within especially the youth in the black and brown community and LGBTQ community. Living inside out is the true secret of life, we then can truly thrive in our lives. Reciprocity assist the NYC community with self-healing by giving us the tools to go home within. As a healer myself I was in awe to find such an authentic space that was built from the core values of unconditional love, compassion, empathy, laughter, non -judgement, respect and integrity. Taz Tagore has a spirit of a true loving warrior and so is her team who also embody loving, strong, healing spirits. They are a powerhouse as a team, as each are a lighthouse that shine their inner gifts and talents to serve others. When you walk in the doors of Reciprocity you feel welcomed and at home. We as humanity need to create more homes within our community. Community is very important as well as being self-reliant in that community and at Reciprocity it’s a necessity to go home within first to heal and do the inner work. When we create from a healing place instead of painful wounds as many in society do today a lot of society issues can begin to resolve because we are coming from a space of higher consciousness and no longer from our wounded ego’s. I say this as a statement of awareness and not judgement as I have my own inner work that I am consistently doing.

Reciprocity is doing its best to still serve the NYC community and has offered services virtually for those in need. The current services that are being offered are as follows, Long Distance Craniosacral Healing, Remote Therapy, Reiki Healing Therapy, Energy Healing and Grief Counseling. During this worldwide pause and times of void and uncertainty for humanity I encourage those who need assistance or can refer others who need these services to do it. You will get the healing services that can assist you to seeing the light in these dark times and to know that brighter days are coming despite what is right now. Change is the only thing constant and to have assistance during life’s transition is beautiful. The Reciprocity Foundation go by sliding scale or are free for those who qualify, but a donation is greatly appreciated as the exchange is never transactional it’s always lovingly reciprocated with the healing you will receive. If you don’t need any of the services offered, you can also donate to The Reciprocity Foundation on their website at https://www.reciprocityfoundation.org/. We spend millions of dollars in society to build institutions that are supposed to reform people when it’s just been a revolving door for a mass population amongst many other atrocious methods of rehabilitation and I truly believe we can invest in our societies healing journey. Our world is shifting to greater things and it will be a process of destroying what no longer serves us internally and externally and that in it’s self will open up wounds but to heal we must become aware of the roles we play and holding a mirror up in our faces can be very scary, but it’s the only way to stop being blind to the parts we play and release the obsolete molds and roles that we have been programmed to believe whether it was from society, family, friends or self. From a space of healing, growth and self-exploration we are able to become our true selves and become the limitless unconditional loving beings we came here to be and The Reciprocity foundation has been apart of that journey for myself , others and many more to come so let’s support The Reciprocity Foundation as they uplift humanity.
