Promoting A Reading Culture

Living in the era when we ever want to know the meaning of any word we have mobile phones, tabs or any other devices in our hands which we could use as a dictionary. That is why when we even want to learn something new related to our studies instead of reading the books we immediately search for the specific topic using these gadgets, in fact which is the right use of the new technology but on the other hand we have just stop reading the books which limits our knowledge because we don’t learn more than that specific topic. Moreover, most people have no habit of reading different books even kids rarely read any book.

This is the reason Promoting the reading culture is very challenging and difficult to give awareness to everyone about reading books. But some efficient and effective strategy could help us and those strategy also prove that the how the reading culture is becoming more and more necessary time by time. As reading is essential for the growth of the young generation.

One of the strategies is that we could promote the culture of reading books by spreading the awareness to read books online instead of buying physical books. Those books which are sometimes limited or not available. This could motivate and encourage the people to start reading books using mobile phone devices. As there are plenty of interesting books which everyone should read like “Deep Work” by Cal Newport, “The Blue Zones” by Dan Buettner, “On Writing Well” by William Zinsser, “Principles” by Ray Dalio and “I’ll Find You” by Clair M. Poulson and list is endless.

The other strategy to promote reading culture is that to know the importance of reading book for young generation’s career because we often hear that we should be creative and have creative mind to be successful in our career and no matter what our career field is. Reading books helps us in imagining things because whenever we read book we imagine and start imagining characters of the books. Reading books gives us more knowledge than any other thing. Reading books helps our creativity and make us more and more creative and innovative. Reading books helps us to have creative, unique and innovative ideas.

As for AI and ChatGPT comes in the place it has been a problematic situation for programmers and computer science field students because these people think that this new technology is slowly started to replacing the programmer’s jobs and having fear that there would no need of programmers in future because ChatGPT is getting more and more advanced to understand the problems who use ChatGPT. But actually, it is not true programmer real job is problem solving and ChatGPT could not replace anyone job because as ChatGPT works through human feedback and those errors and problems should be fixed by humans.

Problem solving skill could be well developed time by time if reading books becomes a habit. People should start reading books instead of demotivated and demoralized by keeping the fear of these increased and growth of the new technology that is why, everyone should adapt the reading book habit. The new technology is made as a helping hand for computer science field students and programmers.

In conclusion, as promoting the reading culture helps in making readings books as a habit and also helps us in having healthy eyes. We should start reading books and read every book as a story book, as a novel, which could help in developing some interest while reading. Reading books helps in expanding and opening our mind.
