A habit is a habit and no one can throw it out of the window.

In The Power of Habit, there is this description.

"Many people probably believe that most of the choices we make every day are the result of thoughtful decision-making, but this is not rea case. Over 40% of a person's daily activities are the product of habit rather than their own active decisions."

It is true when you think about it, many of the actions we take in our day are suit of habit, completely subconscious actions that do not require thought.

For example, which way to go to work, what time to eat, whether to talk to a colleague first when you arrive at work, or go straight to work ......

A behavior that lasts for a long time becomes a habit, and the habit slowly develops into our character, whether we are lazy and lax or thunderous, and these habits eventually determine our life.

This reminds me of what Steve Jobs once said: In the first 30 years of your life, you develop habits; in the last 30 years of your life, your habits define you.

And Wilde put it in a more philosophical way when he said that at first, we create habits and later habits create us.

What I am trying to say is that we have the opportunity and the possibility to have another life, provided we can change our daily habits.

To become better, these five habits must be developed.

Manage your time well

As the saying goes, how you live your day is how you live your life.

Where one spends one's time is where one's achievements lie and often what one becomes.

Workplace office area

If you spend your time on self-improvement and put it into your work, then you will be better than others; if you put a lot of time and effort into your reading, then you will be more learned than others ......

Of course, if you spend a lot of your time eating and drinking and wasting your life, then you will probably end up achieving nothing and getting worse and worse.

So, the first good habit we need to develop is to manage our time well.

Managing time well means allocating it wisely and spending it on things that are meaningful and valuable.

For example, giving yourself an hour a day to read, spending two hours to improve a skill, or learn a foreign language.

The reason many people have a bad time is that they often waste too much time on entertainment, indulging in games, and catching up on dramas. It's not that you can't play games, but you have to stop in moderation.

Manage your time well and you will often have an upward and interesting life.

Don't stay up late, go to bed early and get up early

We all know that health is priceless and we all know that staying up late hurts and how bad it is, but few people today are not staying up late, especially young people.

Despite this, I feel it is still important to bring this up, after all, a healthy body is the most important thing, and living well is the number one priority, everything else is just a fad.

So, the second habit we need to develop is not to stay up late and to go to bed early and get up early.

One is for health and the other is for growth.

Many people actually have ambitions and plan to arrange, but ultimately fail to do so, and the delay in taking action often has a lot to do with poor work and rest.

As the saying goes, the year is in the spring and the day is in the morning.

Although there are 24 hours in a day, those who get up early usually have more time than others, do things more efficiently and have a more fulfilling day, and the prerequisite for getting up early is not to stay up late.

If you go to bed before 10 pm, stay away from mobile phones and all other electronic products, and try not to stay up late, you will wake up early the next day, and you will be in great shape for the rest of the day, so you will have more energy and strength to do something meaningful.

If you continue this virtuous cycle, your life will look different in the long run.

Make a to-do list

Why are some people so efficient and reliable that they never make a mistake in what they are told to do, while others are so inefficient and so prone to missing things and making small mistakes?

The difference lies in their different sense of purpose. The former has a strong sense of purpose and is very organized, while the latter has a very confused mind.

Of course, this also has something to do with ability and personality, but I think there is a way to improve this, which means that the latter has a chance to become the former.

The third habit we need to develop is to make a daily to-do list, preferably prioritized by priority.

One, it will allow us to be more organized and will make us more efficient and dependable.

Two, it will improve procrastination.

Thirdly, it will train our coordination and management skills.

If you can do this, your life will surely get better slowly.

Whether it's The Reader The Poetry Competition to The Host Competition, Dong Qing has time and again taken people's breath away with her unparalleled talent.

Some people can't help but wonder: how can a person be this good?

In an interview with Global People, Dong Qing once said, "I have always maintained the habit of reading for an hour every day before I go to bed, and this is almost a thunderbolt.

On the meaning of reading, she had this to say.

"I always believe that all the books I read are not in vain, it will always help me to perform better on some occasion in the days to come, reading is empowering and it gives more pleasure."

So, I think the fourth habit we need to develop is to keep reading.

Reading consistently over time and drawing on valuable information and knowledge can make it easier for us to succeed in our careers.

As Tung said, it will always help me perform better on some occasions in the days to come.

Apart from that, reading can save our spiritual world from desolation and can put us in a better state of mind and spirit to deal with the world.

This is a very important point. A person who reads consistently over a long period, even if he is not very successful in his career, is certainly happy.

Reflect from time to time

In my opinion, there is an old saying that goes very well: sit quietly and always think about your faults; don't talk about others' faults.

When you are talking to people, don't comment on others and talk about what is right or wrong, but when you are alone, reflect on your Thefaults often.

Not talking about others is a form of discipline and wisdom that can save us a lot of trouble, while reflecting on ourselves from time to time is a form of discipline that can make us better.

The fifth habit we need to develop is to reflect on ourselves from time to time.

No one is without faults.

We all make mistakes and are not perfect, so we should not be afraid to face our imperfect selves.

What's scary is not making mistakes, what's scary is not correcting them and going further and further down the wrong path, which is fatal.

Here's a tip: every night before you go to bed, take a few minutes to review the day, see what you did wrong with people and think of better ways to deal with it.

Don't underestimate such a small habit, it will benefit you a lot in the long run.

Mark Twain said that a habit is a habit, and no one can throw it out of the window, only lead it downstairs step by step.

In fact, the formation of any good habits and the improvement of bad habits are all step by step and need to be guided slowly, so please give yourself more patience and more persistence.

Life is a practice, and the kind of life we can reap depends on the kind of habits we have sown in our bodies.

If you want to meet a better you, please force yourself to develop these five habits.
