Nitin Menon of India will be one of the 16 umpires working the ICC Twenty20 World Cup.
Nitin Menon, the lone Indian in the ICC Elite Panel of umpires, will officiate T20 World Cup First Round and Super 12s stage matches in Australia from October 16.
The sole Indian official to be included on the list of umpires is Nitin Menon. Other names on the list include Richard Kettleborough and Kumara Dharmasena. Marais Erasmus's name is included on the list as well.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has revealed all 16 of the umpires who will be in charge of the matches that take place during the Twenty20 World Cup, which will begin on October 16 in Australia. The tournament will be held in Australia. In the list of umpires, Nitin Menon is the only Indian official to be included. Other names on the list include Richard Kettleborough and Kumara Dharmasena. Marais Erasmus's name is included on the list as well. As stated in a statement that was issued by the International Cricket Council (ICC), there will be a total of sixteen umpires working during the entirety of the event. Richard Kettleborough, Nitin Menon, and Kumara Dharmasena were the umpires in charge of the 2021 final, which saw the hosts of this year's ICC Men's T20 World Cup earn their first ever championship. In addition, Marais Erasmus served as an umpire for the 2021 championship game. A total of sixteen different umpires will be working throughout the course of the competition.
It is an experienced group of referees, with the same sixteen individuals chosen for the competition which held in United Arab Emirates and Oman the year before.
ICCI announced 16 umpires for Twenty20 World Cup
In the forthcoming iteration of the Twenty20 World Cup, all of the match officials will have previous experience playing cricket at the international level. One of the four people who will serve in this role is Ranjan Madugalle, who is now the Chief Referee of the ICC Elite Panel of Match Referees. Ranjan Madugalle will be one of the individuals who serve in this capacity. Both Australia and New Zealand have agreed to play the role of hosts for this particular competition. The other three individuals are named Christopher Broad, David Boon, and Andrew Pycroft, and they are nationals of England, Australia, and Zimbabwe, respectively.
The first mega cricket spectacular is planned to be played between Sri Lanka and Namibia. Namibia is the team that is scheduled to compete. The team from Namibia will play the role of hosts for this competition. In the centre of the field, Joel Wilson and Rodney Tucker will serve as umpires.Pycroft is going to act as referee for the match. Paul Reiffel will be one of the officials for the game that will be shown on TV. He will be the television umpire, and Erasmus will be the game's fourth official.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has published a statement in which it indicates that "Officials have been appointed for the remainder of the First Round and Super 12s." The announcement also says that "the selections for the semi-finals and final of the event will be made in due time."

Match Referee: Ranjan Madugalle, Andrew Pycroft, Christopher Broad, and David Boon are the members of the squad that have been chosen to act as match officials. These individuals have been given the opportunity to do so.
Match Umpires: Adrian Holdstock, Aleem Dar, Ahsan Raza, Christopher Brown, Christopher Gaffaney, Joel Wilson, Kumara Dharmasena, Langton Rusere, Marais Erasmus, Michael Gough, Nitin Menon, Paul Reiffel, Paul Wilson, Richard Illingworth, Richard Kettleborough, and Rodney Tucker have all been chosen to be umpires.
