Have you ever started a blog and realized you needed to do something to gain pageviews and receive more visitors in order to earn money from Adsense? Even earning money on Vocal Media would be a good thing if pageviews were to go viral. It can be a futile moment when you realize you are doing something wrong but it's not that hard to work out. Do you want to make money from your blog or from writing on Vocal Media?

Do you want to know how you can get people interested in your writing?

It might be that your blog isn't anything special or it's not receiving traffic every day or the SEO traffic isn't working. Perhaps, you need to do more social media sharing or maybe your Adsense account isn't working. Whatever the problem may be, I think I have solved it.

How can it be done?

I started up a new blog about weight loss a few years ago. It received lots of traffic overnight without knowing what I had done. It began when I wrote an article about a certain diet that I did. I shared the food plan and told everyone how I lost up to one stone in one week (which was true because I lost ten pounds). The traffic was overwhelming in the first few weeks and then it went even higher.

Today, this blog now receives 20,000 page views per month and each day it is rising. I don't know how this happened, but one thing is certain, fast weight loss, losing weight, and diet food plans are something people want to know and read about. If you can start a blog with a topic that people want to learn more about, then you'll be on the way to making it work.

My weight loss blog is also sharing some unique ads from Adsense on all of my pages, so I will earn money from these ads when people click on them. Unique ads are important if you want to earn money from them. For instance, most of my Adsense ads on my Skinny is Best blog are related to fast weight loss, fitness, and fast dieting. These ads may help you earn even more money if readers click on them!

Doing this will get you many hits and most people will always want to read about someone's personal experience whether it's about a diet or not. You can talk about the products you have used for your weight loss blog. You can advertise those products using Adsense.

My Vocalmedia article about a fast weight loss diet plan has gone viral too which is below. When I first published the article it went wild and got over 1000 views in a matter of days and it is still getting views.

Here are five useful tips you can start using immediately

Topics

Write about topics that are of personal value i.e., write about an experience you had on a diet. Try it yourself and then write about it. Use Amazon affiliates or other adverts on your blog posts to increase your chances of earning money. I use Adsense. Adsense shares ads related to your blogging topic and you can earn money from them.

Getting comments

Getting comments can benefit your blog immensely. Comments are a way of bringing you more traffic. If you haven't got a comments section at the bottom of each article, then make sure you set one up. Comments are valuable. They bring page views and increase your chances of people clicking on your Adsense adverts which in turn will gain your profit. You must always answer a question or a comment that's been left for you to answer. Replying to comments will bring more visitors to your blog.

Social media sharing

I always share my posts on social media sites like Facebook ie Face groups, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, Tumblr, and Reddit. Facebook groups can get you some outstanding visitors and new followers so I always use them. These are all valuable places to share your writing and they can help you receive the traffic that you need to get started. Register with all of them and share your posts as much as possible there. If you have a large Twitter following it will benefit you greatly when you start sharing your work.

Write regularly

Writing regularly will keep your followers interested and gain your blog even more traffic. I try to write an article on my blog at least twice per week. This will keep your readers up to date and in turn, you will increase your followers.

These are all valuable sites and can help you receive the traffic that you need to get started. Register with all of them and share your posts as much as possible there.

Search engine optimization (SEO)

Using SEO ie keywords in your blog post is important but sometimes these keywords will be in your writing no matter what. Sometimes you need to find keywords that will drive the traffic to your blog post for that particular topic. These keywords may be popular or not. SEO is a simple activity if you can master it. It ensures that a website can be found in search engines for words and phrases relevant to what the site is offering. It is sometimes a great mystery when it comes to solving how SEO can work for your blog but if you master it, then it can bring great results where traffic is concerned. Also, linking your article to other successful blog posts by mentioning them can push you to the top of the search engine alongside them and this is what I do all the time on my weight loss blog.

So, try the above five ideas that I have used and see what happens!
