When it comes to challenging streams then live streaming takes the cake. No matter how you look at it there is always a risk factor in broadcasting anything live. Cause, unlike recorded streams where you have the chance of retakes if mistakes occur. But in live streaming theirs no such method.

Despite the risk factor, its popularity is increasing day by day. Various social platforms are even including it on their sites because of its popularity. But why is it still famous despite having such risk factors?

Well, one of the main reasons is its credibility. No retakes for mistakes but if one still performs then that shows how confident and careful the person must be. That’s why many social platforms have added it to their site like Facebook Live, Instagram Live, Twitter Live, etc. And also many streaming platforms are built around it like Bigo TV, Twitch Live, Streaming Plug, and so on.

And because of its popularity, it has become one of the key components for getting more viewers and subscribers to your streaming channels. This is especially true for new streamers who are here to stream their talent to go viral or who want to earn from home online and are planning to make it their full-time job.

Now, this might sound easy but believe me it’s not so easy when you do it in front of the camera when it’s life and have millions of viewers looking at your stream in real-time.

So let me give you some tips on how can you start or up your game on live streaming.

# Keeping it simple

This is a very important point. There are times when newcomers tend to prepare a complex setup and choose a difficult niche to gain success as fast as possible. But the thing is kind of setup are for those who have a certain amount of experience under their belt or are guided by such personnel. If you dive into such a setup then not only will you won’t be able to show what you are capable of, the chances of making mistakes that could dissatisfy the audience are quite high.

So it’s best to start with a simple setup and choose a topic that you are comfortable with so that you can stream your talent successfully and win the heart of your audience in the process.

# Check up on audio and lighting

Another point to keep an eye on is your lighting and audio setup. They are one of the key factors when you engage your audience. Good lighting and audio quality are essential to showcase what you are capable of. Do set it up in a way that it overshadows your subject or doesn’t highlight your main attraction for the streams or sound filled with unwanted noise which can be a big hurdle when iterating with a live audience.

# Do rehearsals before the main event

No one is perfect. Heck, there is even a say that “ To Err Is Human ”. All we can do is prepare as much as we can. That is why it’s highly recommended to do rehearsals and try to eliminate the errors as much as possible that you might face during the main event. As there are no retakes it’s essential to rehearse as much as possible to be prepared for the real thing.

# Let people know before the event

It’s important to let people know about your event ahead of time. Build as much hype as possible. Be as detailed as possible. Highlight the pros of attending your stream. Also, throw some sneak peeks or behind the scene footages on your social media as it builds more anticipation.
