No work from Upwork or Fiverr, instead of two home-based contract applications for 3 and 6 months work.

Setup for working from home with Windows 10 Pro PC Box, 1TG hard drive, 8G Memory, 32G Sandisk, Intel Modem Card, NVIDIA Video card with HDMI port. Chromebook 64 Bit, 32G Flash Drive, 4G Memory, 16G Sandisk. 32” Monitor with Wireless Mouse and Keyboard, Logitech Speakers and Webcam.

Reading to establish a base for using and applying AI/ML and VR/AR applications:

Thinking Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahnman - how we think and react to life experiences,

How We Know What Isn't So by Thomas Gilovich - read, research and do analysis for learning points,

Business Model YOU by Tim Clark, Alexander Osterwalder and Yves Pigneur - use it for visual analysis of YOU in different work and life roles as Personas,

Chess for Beginners by Thomas Salberg - part of self-improvement and strategies.

Lessons learned from reading Style books:

Elements of Style by William Strunk Jr and E.B. White - Plot usage, composition, form and words and expressions commonly misused, Style analysis of well known speakers, writers, and publications, brevity and clarity and further study,

The Prince by Niccolo Machiavelli - A period history of Florence written in style and without clutter,

The Complete Works of F. Scott Fitzgerald - 12 stories that pull readers in and keep them hooked,

The Elements of Eloquence: How to turn the perfect English phrase by Mark Forsyth - 35 Chapters examine these elements and how Shakespeare applied them to other people's work he stole, reused and improved,

The Strangest Secret by Earl Nightingale (Original Version) - Father of the Personal Development Industry applied creativity to it. Note the changes between this book and the SPRINT book. Starting to feel that each of these books needs a SPRINT type analysis to pull out learning points to practice and apply.

Book reviews:

Google Ventures book on SPRINT's by Jake Knapp, John Zeratsky, and Braden Kowitz - Medium. The best process book I have read and shows why Google and other big tech companies are so different from the rest. It is still good to start by reading the book and then use the Checklists and questions and answers for your SPRINT. With practice, your team becomes better and solves their product or service problems with working solutions.

Product review:

WIP: Blockchain is moving fast like BitCoin with security improving through validating all users and making it sector specific helps to spot unusual operations. End-to-End tracking with checks helps to ensure security. Using defined and agreed process steps to keep all users on the same page and reduces input and output errors.

WIP: Shopify Websites a low profile company with an $80 billion turnover makes it worth looking at. Works differently to Amazon and eBay with easy to use software applications that are easy to maintain and configure. Finding Clients: Creating a Solid Foundation, Volume 1, 38 Pages, building the website portfolio will be a good challenge. With applications using REST and JSON, it should be a lot easier than others.

Getting Fit

WIP: Musical Decades

The ongoing reduction in expenses:

Can Opener and Knife Sharpener- able to buy cheaper tins of beans,

Shoe Repair kit - with soles and heals replacement costing £50.00 doing DIY makes sense.

Running and walking every day to improve my fitness. Also bought an Arbily sports tracker watch on Amazon with a smartphone app that shows a daily average at 20,000 steps.
