Josh Allen was born on May 21, 1996 in Firebaugh, California. He attended Firebaugh High School where he played football as a quarterback and safety. Allen was not heavily recruited out of high school and received only one scholarship offer to play football at Reedley College, a junior college in California.

At Reedley, Allen played one season and threw for 2,055 yards and 26 touchdowns, earning him a scholarship to play at the University of Wyoming.

At Wyoming, Allen became the starting quarterback in his second season and set numerous school records. He was named the Mountain West Conference Offensive Player of the Year in 2016 and 2017, and was also named to the All-Mountain West Conference First Team in 2017.

After his junior year, Allen decided to forgo his senior season and enter the 2018 NFL Draft, where he was selected seventh overall by the Buffalo Bills.

In his rookie season, Allen started in 11 games for the Bills and showed promise, but also struggled with consistency. He completed 52.8% of his passes for 2,074 yards, 10 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions.

In the 2019 season, Allen took a big step forward, completing 58.8% of his passes for 3,089 yards, 20 touchdowns, and 9 interceptions. He also rushed for 510 yards and 9 touchdowns. He led the Bills to the playoffs for the first time in twenty years, and was named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week twice.

Since then, Allen has continued to improve and establish himself as one of the top quarterbacks in the NFL, leading the Bills to the playoffs multiple times and earning several individual accolades along the way

Josh Allen is an American football quarterback for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Wyoming and was drafted by the Bills in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft.

In his college career, Allen set numerous school records and was named the Mountain West Conference Offensive Player of the Year in 2016 and 2017. He was also named to the All-Mountain West Conference First Team in 2017.

In his rookie season, Allen started in 11 games for the Bills and showed promise, but also struggled with consistency. He completed 52.8% of his passes for 2,074 yards, 10 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions.

In the 2019 season, Allen took a big step forward, completing 58.8% of his passes for 3,089 yards, 20 touchdowns, and 9 interceptions. He also rushed for 510 yards and 9 touchdowns. He led the Bills to the playoffs for the first time in twenty years, and was named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week twice.

In the 2020 season, Allen elevated his game even more, completing 69.2% of his passes for 4,544 yards, 37 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions. He also rushed for 421 yards and 8 touchdowns. He was named to the Pro Bowl and was also named Second-team All-Pro. Allen helped the Bills to the AFC Championship game, they lost to Kansas City Chiefs, but it was the first time they reached the conference championship game in 27 years.

In 2021, Allen continued his strong play, completing 69.2% of his passes for 4,903 yards, 34 touchdowns, and 8 interceptions. Allen was voted to the Pro-bowl again and was among the league's MVP candidates. He led the Bills to the playoffs again, but they lost in the divisional round.

Josh Allen is known for his strong arm and athleticism, as well as his leadership and competitiveness. He has become one of the top quarterbacks in the NFL and has helped lead the Bills to sustained success.
