This quote is from the commencement speech that David Foster Wallace gave at Kenyon College in 2005. I chose this because it speaks about some of the key components of success, namely dreaming big and never giving up. . Wallace also speaks about how success can be found through persistence and dedication. “Success is not something that just happens to people, it is a hard won prize that you have to fight for, something worth striving for.”

When you’re young, life is really simple — you think that if you do well in school, you’ll find a good job and make money.

But as we mature we start to realize that life isn’t so black-and-white — there are other factors at play. You might find yourself in multiple jobs over the course of your life or following a career path where you don’t make as much money but enjoy what you’re doing for example.

And then there’s self improvement, which can be just as important — maybe more so — than working towards your dreams and making money. .

I’ve seen the effects of financial freedom on people in my life. I know some who were very happy and fulfilled when they finally quit their job to pursue their true passions, while others who were struggling to find a new place in the workforce after having been laid off.

And even though they’re making less money now, they’re able to live an incredibly fulfilling life because they are working towards what makes them happy.

You might also find yourself questioning how much is enough and whether you’re prioritizing your happiness and self care.

Now some of you might say “Hey, there is no simple way to wealth” but I disagree and let me tell you why.

Your Thoughts Can Become Your Reality

What this means is that whatever you focus on will come true for you. The key is for you to see the future in advance. Feel it like it has already happened.

I am not saying that this is easy to do but if you can manage to get it done the outcome will be absolutely phenomenal. If you want abundance and you see abundance it clearly come your way then it is abundance that you will get.

To see and feel the future in advance in not something that people normally do and that is why people often live the lives that they live – without abundance. If you spend some time listening to personal development coaches or you are attending seminars or reading books, you will know that everything happens in your mind. All the outer things are formed by how you picture them in your mind.

This might sound a bit strange to you at first and I remember that it was very far from the reality that I knew of but as I learnt more and more it began to make sense.

You can control your own mind and you can decide what you feel about anything that happens. You can decide to focus on all the bad and negative things and in return feel bad and negative about it all. Or you can decide to look for all the positive things that are in everything that happens and by focusing on positive and nice things you shift your mood to being positive and nice.

As I said in the beginning, this is only a small part of the “thoughts become things” philosophy and there is much more to learn.

The law of attraction can be an extremely powerful force if you know how to use it and apply it.
