India has made significant progress in economic growth and in improving the lives of its citizens. One of the key factors behind this progress is the adoption of a good plan, better implementation, and a better publishing approach.

Good planning means developing clear and well-thought-out policies and strategies aimed at addressing key challenges facing the country. These policies are based on a detailed analysis of the country's strengths and weaknesses and a deep understanding of the needs and aspirations of the people.

The best implementation part of the approach involves implementing these policies and strategies in an effective and efficient manner. It requires strong leadership, effective management, and a focus on results. This requires the involvement of all stakeholders, including the government, private sector, civil society, and the general public.

Better output is the final step of the approach and represents the concrete results and impact of good planning and good execution on the ground. These include improvements in key indicators such as economic growth, employment, education, health, and quality of life.

In the last 25 years, India has made significant progress in all three sectors. The country has implemented several policies and programs aimed at improving the lives of its citizens and boosting economic growth.

These include initiatives in areas such as the following:

Education;

In the last 25 years, India has implemented several innovative and impactful educational projects aimed at increasing access to education and improving its quality. One of the most notable is the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) launched in 2001, aimed at universalizing primary education.

The project hasn't been successful in increasing enrolment and retention in schools. The Mid-Day Meal Scheme, launched in 1995, has been effective in increasing attendance in schools, especially among children from economically weaker sections.

Additionally, the establishment of new universities and colleges such as IGNOU and AICTE has played a significant role in improving higher education in India. The implementation of these programs has contributed to the overall development of the country.

Health;

In the last 25 years, India has made significant progress in the healthcare sector through various innovative projects and programs. One of the most notable projects is the National Health Mission (NHM) launched in 2013 which aims to provide affordable and accessible healthcare to all citizens. The project has been successful in increasing the number of healthcare facilities and health workers in rural and underserved areas.

Another project that made an impact is the Pulse Polio program which has been instrumental in eradicating polio from the country. Janani Suraksha Yojana, a safe motherhood intervention under the National Rural Health Mission has been instrumental in reducing maternal and neonatal mortality. Additionally, the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY), also known as the Ayushman Bharat scheme, launched in 2018, has provided health insurance to over 50 crore people and made healthcare more accessible for the poor.

Infrastructure;

In the last 25 years, India has seen a significant improvement in its infrastructure development, thanks to the implementation of several key projects. One of the most notable is the Golden Quadrilateral project which has connected the major cities of India with a network of highways. The National Highways Development Project (NHDP) has also made a great impact in expanding and upgrading India's road network. Additionally, India's ambitious project of building 100 smart cities, in line with rapid urbanization, has been notable in creating sustainable, liveable, and inclusive cities.

Employment;

In the last 25 years, India has implemented several employment generation schemes and initiatives aimed at creating jobs and reducing unemployment. One of the most notable is the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) which guarantees a certain number of days of employment to rural households.

Another one is the Pradhan Mantri Rojgar Protsahan Yojana (PMRPY) which encourages employers to provide jobs to new employees. These projects have been effective in creating employment opportunities and reducing poverty; however, the country continues to face challenges in creating employment for a large population of underemployed, unemployed, and low-skilled people.

Finally, great publishing has played an important role in making India what it is today. In the last 25 years, India has made significant improvements in its development indicators – life expectancy and infant mortality.

"The true measure of a nation's progress is not in its GDP or economic growth, but in the quality and impact of its projects and their implementation" - PM of India Shri Narendra Modi
