Today's big idea comes from Brian Tracy and his best-selling book eat that frog .as always we hope we can inspire you, help you ,grow your mind and motivate you to be the best you. people are busier than ever they are overwhelmed with too much to do and too little time to do it and you can forget about getting ahead by becoming more productive. they were always more to do than you can ever accomplish in the time .you have available and eat that frog Brian Tracy addresses this issue and shows us a way to become the boss of our to-do list .

he does this by sharing 21 ways to get more done in less time 21 medicine techniques presented in this book revolve around five key themes .theme number one preparation, it has been said, if the first thing you do in the morning is to eat a live frog then you will know that the most unpleasant thing you will do that day the frog is of course a metaphor. for the most important task the one task.

you're most likely to procrastinate upon .if you don't do something about it and at the same time the one task that can have the biggest impact. most important decision you'll have to make each day is what you will do first and what you will do later .if you do it at all which leads us to the first rule of frog eating. if you have to eat two frogs then eat the ugliest one first, if you have two important tasks in front of you then start with the most important one .

now the second rule of frog eating if you know you have to eat the Frog .it doesn't pay to sit and look at it just eat the damn thing and get it over with here are three questions that can help you choose your frogs question number one, what are my highest value activities number? two, what can i and only I do if done well that will make a big difference?and the third and final question what is the most valuable use of my time right now?

let's move on to the next theme .it's time to get focused theme number two. focus did you know the 20% of your activities will account for 80% of your results every list of 10 tasks will include to tell your much more impactful than the other eight .so forget about the eight and only focus on the two and once you start working stay focused until the work is done.
calendar and then eat your frogs without breaks turn off the signal for incoming email and work uninterrupted periods.

during the day finally make sure to have all needed resources at hand. before clear your workspace go to the bathroom pick up a coffee do whatever it takes so that any excuse to procrastinate is eliminated. before you begin working on the task .

theme number three one thing at a time if you have a big and ugly frog that you have to eat then lay out the task in detail and do one thing at a time until you reach the finish line .do you know the famous riddle how do you eat an elephant you probably do and then you also the equally famous answer. one bite at a time remember you don't have enough hours in the day to accomplish everything on your to-do list. you have to press 8 on something decide delegate outsource or eliminate some of those activities that don't contribute to your success and practice saying no sometimes no is the best answer even if it can be tempting to always say yes.
