BBC News should stay out of reporting on Africa and African stories because they're dangerous

Frankly BBC News Africa and BBC News period should stick to reporting news that has nothing to do with Africa. When I tell you BBC Africa did an entire special on rap music and allowed Ghanaians to proclaim that they created rap music I was already done with them.

However I made a friend in Malawi from the one of the horrible posts that BBC News made about Malawi's president and national football (soccer team), there was a post which was rather insulting about the president of Malawi.

Here it is in short with some quotes from an article I wrote at the time this happened. The President of Malawi Lazarus Chakwera, offered to pay the national football team money upon winning AFCON.

During the AFCON competition there was an explosion as well as a rude question posted by BBC Africa, for those who might not follow Football (AFCON = Africa Cup of Nations)

If anyone watches sports, they would know that most winning teams are paid money as a reward. As in the American National Football League, when the win they're paid, soccer teams and so on.

Why would BBC News question an African football team about being paid? I have no idea! Here's what happened not once but several times with BBC News Africa.

Here is an example, when an American football team wins the Super bowl each player on the winning team is paid $150.000.

BBC Africa decided to create a poll asking people how they felt about his decision, which was inappropriate, it was filled with White supremacy. As it happens often in western countries for athletes on winning teams to receive payments as a reward.

Why would a question be posed when an African country decides to do the same?

Several hundred citizens of Malawi decided to highjack all the posts and news stories posted by BBC Africa. They would post nonsensical comments, laughing emojis, or the flag of Malawi as well as some offensive comments.

Mostly they demanded that BBC Africa issue an apology to their President Lazarus Chakwera. Which I happened to agree with as BBC Africa often writes insensitive stories about the African continent as well as uses some really disgusting photos.

Once posted a photo that was in the UK saying it was a particular African country, one zoom in on the car license plates you could realize it was indeed Europe not Africa.

BBC Africa: The colonizer adding Racism to African articles

From insulting titles to their articles images that are cruel and often misleading

Noticing some very racist & misleading headlines with poorly researched stories. One of the most recent was one that called out Kenyans as helping people in western countries cheat. Instead of the news agency reporting about the many Americans and Europeans looking to purchase essay papers.

They’re the cheaters, not those employed to write, some of whom don’t know that what they’re writing is being used for cheating.

Burkina Faso's military government has announced it will extend junta rule for another five years.

The country's ruler, Capt Ibrahim Traoré, will also be able to contest the next presidential election, the state-owned broadcaster says.

When he seized power in a coup nearly two years ago, Capt Traore pledged to restore the civilian government by 1 July this year.

But Burkina Faso has now joined neighbouring Mali in extending military rule.

The move was announced on Saturday, after a national consultation meeting in the West African country's capital city, Ouagadougou.

An amended charter, signed by Capt Traoré, states that the new 60-month transition period will take effect from 2 July this year.

Let's be honest, when was the last time anyone took to task all the African leaders who have remained in power for decades? I mean even the United States has continued a working relationship with Uganda, Chad, Republic of Congo and other countries with these decade long leaders. Even China, I mean come on?

The move was announced on Saturday, after a national consultation meeting in the West African country's capital city, Ouagadougou.

So there was a national consultation meeting, or did Traoré just extend his time? There were rally's thousands of people took to the streets of Burkina Faso for months before the end of his time. Was I the only one watching this?

How can the country, which was recently named with the top 10 best governed countries in Africa by the way. Not too far below Ghana, I belive it was 8th or 9th on the list. Clearly the man is doing something correct. Also what does West Africa, have to do with Britain?

Also can I note that there are about a hundred more photos with Traoré smiling or not looking angry, why did BBC Africa news have to use this photo? There are even public domain photos they could've used, why use one where he's looking angry? Is this to make Black Africans look like 'savages'?

How or why does the Western World want Burkian Faso to hold an election when parts of the country are still not free? There are still over a million displaced people living in the country. This is when being a part of the Western World annoys me.

People won't watch the news in Burkina Faso either, they'll just simple watch whatever news they see and go with that. It's very disgusting. This report makes it appear as if he's just extended his own time, most of those in Burkina Faso wanted him in power for 10 more years. He was given 60 more months instead.
