The Law is a very complex and difficult science to understand. Even though in many cases, law students, graduates, and even lawyers don't have a clear idea of how the law works, most will agree that knowing the law seems to be an asset to their lives.

From my years of experience in the legal profession, Ashraf Hossain Siddiky has realized that there are many ways to simplify the law. Far too many would-be lawyers and practicing domestic and international attorneys try to memorize how to do something without understanding why it's done a certain way when you focus on simplifying the law (and not just memorizing it), you save yourself time, money, and stress by approaching legal problems from different angles.

Here are 6 Strategies by Ashraf Hossain Siddiky to become a successful lawyer-

1. Make A List Of Pros And Cons, Then Act

An easy way to organize your work and research before writing your paper is by making a list of the Pros and Cons of a legal issue. Consider both sides of an issue before you begin writing about it. Sometimes, an issue has both positive and negative aspects, so be cautious when listing the pros and cons of an argument.

You need to list the pros and cons of a decision in order to determine whether or not you should go through with it. Do this by asking yourself questions such as what the main benefit is of each decision, what the meaning and purpose is behind each decision, etc. If you come up with more questions than answers, then perhaps you want to rethink your decision.

2. Do Not Confuse The Right With Might

Most of the time you have to keep the law simple. But, we all know that law is not easily understood by any one person, because it has many fields no matter how simple it looks. Also, it requires a lot of hard works and determination from humans.

Law is important. And one of the most universal is that right and might make right. This axiom, at least in its most general form, can be found in many different cultures and legal systems around the world. Not all are aware of the historical origins of this idea, however; cultures and nations have been following it for thousands of years.

3. Read Everything In Its Entirety

Your success as a lawyer depends on your ability to read and understand complex legal documents, contracts, and statutes as well as textbooks that seem to grow in size with each new edition. The better you read the better you will be able to understand the cases. Reading is the fundamental need for becoming a good lawyer. Apart from that, you should have the ability to understand what you would be reading.

4. Keep Staff With Skills Not Just Experience

The legal field is rapidly changing. You cannot rely on experience alone, if you're looking to succeed in a firm environment, you need more than experienced staff, and you need the right skilled staff, the best lawyers have a deeper understanding of their subject matter through expertise in the legal field, and the commitment to continually develop their knowledge through ongoing self-education.

5. Think Outside The Legal Box

Professionals who want to be successful as lawyers need to think outside the legal box. Lawyering is no longer like it was when your grandparents were practicing. Back then you could represent a client based on his or her facts, paperwork, and simply complying with all court appearances and deadlines.

Today, lawyers must have more and better information about the law and their client's cases in order to effectively represent them. This only comes from industry-specific training, becoming an industry leader/thought leader in order to appear on major media channels, maintaining your compliance with nationally recognized certifications at all times.

6. Research All Available Options And Create A Preliminary Plan

It's never a good idea to go into court with only one plan. If you want to become a successful lawyer, research all available options and create a preliminary plan for every client. This shows the judge that you prepared and worked diligently on your case.

I know it might be hard to see an opposing attorney who might not be as qualified as you are, or maybe even better than you are, present their case first or second, but believe it or not, that is the way the law works sometimes. Be calm, cool, and collected in the courtroom and you will do well.
