Not having reason to do it

Many writers dream to make as writer for money and fame. Such type of people won’t make it big.

Writing always need inspiration and supporting environment. If you are writing just for money and fame, you won’t be able to create great impact through your writing as it will be focusing wealth.

Somehow you will want to sell millions of copies overnight and become famous writer which is unlikely to happen.

In the current age of competition, only being a good writer won’t lead to success but there are many direct or indirect factors which are involved in your success.

Almost all writers nowadays work with technology.

The typewriters are long forgotten and writers have turned to computers and are keen to work online.

For turning dream in to reality, you must gain all relevant knowledge so you can improve upon.

You can avail online writing course, follow marketing blogs, hire technical expert to learn about new technology, or can hire business coach to guide you about how to move ahead.

You must be knowing what you are up to otherwise you will get stuck somewhere.

Nowadays everything is available at fingertips; the only thing is to know where you should search.

You need help

Many writers are afraid of sharing their work with other people as they fear their work will not get value.

However, taking advice of people who have traveled on the same road of yours is a great idea.

You alone can’t make a thing successful so you need help from others. The help may be of any king like knowing publication rules, pan out different ideas to add value, etc.

Many times writers feel insecure about their experiment but forget that experienced people might help you to know about your work.

It may be other way around as they think ‘my work is great and no one should pin point anything in that.’

This keeps them out from getting help from others when they really need it.

This is also connected to the above point about confidence. With low or no self-confidence writers do not share their work with others.

You’re spoiling it

If you are willing to take risk, you might get success of failure but at least you will move one step ahead.

If you don’t take risk then everything is going to remain the same then why are you traveling on this path.

You needed change and you chose path then there is no point in backing up when it matters most.

Starting your project is proud moment for you so come out of comfort zone and practice proactiveness.

Arguably the most important reason why writers fail is FEAR. This is linked with individuals and there are just few fearless people who came out of this deadly web of fear.

People fear most to change. The changes which would take them out of comfort zone would be never embraced.

Fear creates a lot of negative questions in one’s mind and people back off even before starting.

There is important role of people around him too. They will inject more fear in his mind.

You don’t hang around the right people

For your growth you must accompany experienced and senior people.

If you approach them in a proper manner they are going to show you what they did and how they became successful in writing career.

But in most of the cases aspirant go to some people who are not from the similar field and as a result come back with fearful mind.

Most of the reasons why writers fail are resolvable but there is no one to guide why and how to do it, it is not surprising that just 1% people hunt for their dream out of 81% because of the aforesaid reasons.

They are simple reasons (and silly too) but writers make them larger than life and portray them as biggest hurdles in their race.

The results is as expected, the race is lost even before it starts.
