Interview with Kelley Stead

Beautiful, Kelley Stead join Vocal, March 2021 and created over 20 stories on Vocal. I also included her “ My Web Portal” story , that was published in a magazine. I love to interview new creators on vocal as well . Everyone has a stories to tell.

Mariann( New York): Hi Kelley, I am a writer on Vocal. I am interviewing ten Vocal writers , would you give me the honor to interview you for my blog?

Kelley (Florida): Sure thing 😊 wow thank you so much. How do you conduct, said interviews.

Most of my interview has been conducted on Facebook Messager 😊

Kelley: Okay,cool.

Mariann: Where are you from?

Kelley: Originally Tampa, Fl. But I live near Miami now

Mariann: When did you realize you wanted to write?

Kelley : I’ve been writing since I was able to hold a pen. Wrote my first mini novel in 5th grade. It wasn’t very good, lol

Mariann: What did you first wrote about?

Kelley: Animals, mainly horses.

Mariann: That’s so cool, I love horses. My next question, how long does it take you to write your stories?

Kelley: Normally three days, but I do outlines first. Sometimes, I’ll write character backstories even though they won’t be completely covered in the story. I have my own business, so time is short around here.

Mariann: What kind of business? Do you want to share the link of your business in this interview?

Kelley: It’s a very niche business. I run a casino massage company in florida. I’m contracted with Caesar’s entertainment.

Mariann: Why do you like to write science fiction stories? Is there anything else you want your readers to know about you ?

Kelley: I like sci-fi because I’m interested in technology and science. I was a biology major in college so science has always fascinated me.

Mariann: What is your real life schedule and how do you fit your writing in it?

Kelley: My schedule is always different. Casinos are 24/7 so there’s never a time my business isn’t operating. I fit my writing in when my child is in Jiu Jitsu class and when I’m managing at the casino. That’s why I love Vocal. I can write in the app and not need a laptop.

Mariann: How old is your child? What is the best word to describe you? Do you have any other hobbies?

Kelley : My child is 9. Best word to describe me is tired 😂 just kidding. I’d say “busy”. I’m always doing something. I do yoga, enjoy working out and lifting weights. I used to run but my knees, suffered.

Mariann: What does your writing space look like? What story did you write on vocal that is your favorite?

Kelley : I don’t have a writing space. I have a messy office that doubles for business. I’d love a cozy writing nook in the future though. My favorite Vocal story was actually the one I just wrote for Sky’s the Limit challenge.“Lunara Flight II.” As well as one I wrote about the nomadic poker dealers I used to travel with. “Sitting in DNA Soup”.

Mariann: Any other accomplishment you are most proud of ?

Kelley : I was published in Dreamforge Magazine which is a sci-fi publication.

Mariann: What Vocal Facebook group you belong to? Who is your favorite Vocal Writer?

Kelley: I belong to Vocal Social Society. My favorite vocal author is Kyra Lopez
