Are you a newbie writer who dreams of being published? Do you wonder what it takes to make the leap from amateur to professional?

I did too. But I’m here to tell you that it’s not as hard as you might think.

I’m living proof that anyone can replace their career from writer to author. Just eleven short months ago, I had never written an ebook. But now, I’ve published my first book and it’s available for all (You know what I mean :)

So if you’re ready to learn how to write like a pro, keep reading like a pro!

My background as a writer

My relationship with words is fine, not aggressive love and not any ignorance, fine means average. It was the situation until eleven months ago, then accidentally I decide to pursue it professionally. (Long story, will talk about it another day that why I start writing).

I set myself a goal to write 1,000 words a day and joined a writing group to help me stay accountable. I also started reading articles on writing and took an online course to learn more about the craft.

For the first time in my life, I was finally taking my writing seriously.

And it paid off. After eleven months of dedicated writing, I finished my first ebook and published a lot of pieces here, as you can see on my profile.

Deciding on a topic was easy for me — I wanted to write a solution to something with which I got into trouble, which was obviously writing.

I knew that if I could help just one person write better then I’d achieve my goal of writing an ebook.

The actual process of writing the ebook was surprisingly easy, too. Once I had set myself a daily word count goal, the words seemed to flow out of me. But of course, editing and publishing were a whole different story!

Fortunately, the decision I took which is to read about writing helped me, I learned to format my book correctly, use SEO keywords, and market my ebook effectively.

I think I’m a good editor (or at least fine). I didn’t need someone who could help me fine-tune my work because I already got some experience writing on medium.

Thanks to Google, I was able to publish my ebook successfully on some platforms. I’ve closed one sale right now but I’m not happy just because I’ve earned some cents, I’m glad because I got five stars which tells me that the only limit is the sky.

I was sure it is possible — thanks to hard work and determination (and a little bit of luck), I made my dream of becoming a published author come true.

It all started with a goal. I decided that I wanted to write 1,000 words a day. In order to achieve this goal, I joined a writing group, read content on writing, took an online course, and wrote every day for eleven months.

This was not always easy, some days were harder than others — but I persevered.

There were times when I felt like giving up — but ultimately it was worth it. Because in the end, anyone can achieve their goals if they’re willing to work hard and never give up.

Process

When I decided to write my first ebook, I had no idea where to start. I knew that I wanted to write about my experience as a newbie writer, but I wasn’t sure how to go about it. Do I just start writing and see where it takes me? Do I need to outline everything first?

I did some research and found that many successful authors recommend doing a bit of both.

I found that it’s important to have a general idea of what you want to write about, but that it’s also important to be flexible and allow yourself to be inspired by your own writing.

With that in mind, I sat down and wrote a rough draft of my ebook. Once I had a complete draft, I went back and edited it. I cut out anything that didn’t fit with the overall theme of the book, and I added new sections that I thought would be helpful for readers. After my ebook was edited and ready to go, it was time to publish it.

I chose to self-publish my ebook because it gave me more control over the final product. Plus, self-publishing is much easier and less expensive than traditional publishing.

Once my ebook was published, I started marketing it. This was one of the most challenging parts of the process, but also the most rewarding. It was great to see people reading and enjoying my work.

One of the things that I learned from writing my first ebook is that it’s important to have a good editor. A good editor will catch errors that you might miss, and they can also help improve the overall flow of your book. They’re definitely worth the investment!

To be honest I’m a fine editor but there are some doors of improvement that still are closed.

Another thing that I learned is that formatting is important. If your book is poorly formatted, people will be less likely to read it. Pay attention to things like font choice, chapter headings, and white space when you’re formatting your ebook.

Finally, one of the most important things that I learned is the importance of SEO keywords. Choosing the right keywords can make or break your book’s success with online retailers.

Do some research before you choose your keywords, and don’t be afraid to experiment a bit until you find ones that work well for you.

How does writing an ebook help writers

Writing and publishing an ebook can help newbie writers in a few ways. First, it can help them improve their writing skills. This is because they have to write a lot to finish an ebook, and this practice can help them hone their skills.

Second, they can learn about formatting and SEO through the process of writing and publishing their ebook. These are important skills for any writer to learn, and they can be applied to other writing projects.

Finally, marketing their ebook can help newbie writers get published. This is because they will have to promote their ebook in order to sell it, and this promotion can lead to other opportunities, such as getting published in a magazine or newspaper.

So, if you’re a newbie writer who wants to get published, don’t give up! Writing and publishing an ebook is a great way to improve your writing skills, learn about formatting and SEO keywords, and market your work.

What you can learn from my experience

One of the things that you can learn from my experience is how important it is to have a goal. When I decided that I wanted to become a published author, I set a goal for myself to write 1,000 words a day. This helped me stay focused and motivated, and it also helped me improve my writing skills.

Another thing that you can learn from my experience is the importance of joining a writing group. When I joined a writing group, I was able to get feedback on my work from other writers. This was helpful because it allowed me to see what was working well and what needed improvement.

You can also learn from my experience about the importance of reading articles on writing. Reading these articles helped me improve my understanding of the craft of writing.

In addition, they also showed me different techniques that I could use in my own work.
