It Began As A Mistake
Welp, crap. I guess I should say sorry for that, and of course, I am, well, mostly. I mean, it really wasn't like you didn't expect someone to, well, you know, and I don't know, I just couldn't help myself. You know, it might bring you some comfort in knowing that it was me and not some random stranger that did it. In that case, you're welcome, seriously sweetie, it was my pleasure.

Why the Rich Never Tell White Lies After Labor Day
Every year, as the last rosรฉ is chilled, the final seaplane taxis off to Aspen, and Labor Day folds its socially acceptable linen napkin, an ancient tradition quietly stirs among the elite: They stop telling white lies. Why you ask?

Chaos With Confidence: Why Tiger Woods Needs a Driver and Druski Needs Supervision
Chaos With Confidence: Why Tiger Woods Needs a Driver and Druski Needs Supervision This is not normal behaviorโฆ But it is entertaining There are two types of chaos in this world. The kind that happens to youโฆ and the kind you confidently walk into like youโve already decided consequences are optional. Right now, two men are leading the league in the second category: Tiger Woods โ a legend with a long-standing, deeply personal feud with vehicles Druski โ a comedian who logs online like HR policies donโt exist One is flipping cars. The other is flipping the internet into outrage. And somehowโฆ they both look equally comfortable doing it. This isnโt just about bad decisions. This is about confidence so strong it cancels out common sense. Letโs start with Tiger. Because at this point, we need to stop calling these โincidentsโ and start calling them what they really are: episodes. Tiger Woods does not โget into accidents.โ Tiger Woods stars in recurring automotive events. Episode 1: The 2009 Wake-Up Call (That Wasnโt a Wake-Up Call) Back in 2009, Tiger crashed his SUV into a fire hydrant and a tree at like 2 in the morning. Now, for most people, that would be a turning point. A moment of reflection. A life reset. Tiger said: โInterestingโฆ letโs see what happens next.โ Because instead of that being the end of his relationship with chaos drivingโฆ โฆit was the pilot episode. Episode 2: The 2017 โSleeping Beautyโ Situation Fast forward to 2017. Police find Tiger asleep behind the wheel of a parked car. Not driving. Not moving. Justโฆ knocked out. Now imagine explaining that. Officer: โSir, have you been drinking?โ Tiger: โNo.โ Officer: โThen why are you unconscious in traffic?โ Tiger: โI was resting my eyesโฆ aggressively.โ That wasnโt even a crash. That was a preview of poor decision-making. Episode 3: The 2021 Near-Death Experience Now this one? This one wasnโt funny at the time. Tiger nearly lost his life in a high-speed rollover crash that left him with severe leg injuries. This was the moment where everyone said: โOkay. Thatโs it. Heโs done driving like this.โ Because when you almost die, the lesson is supposed to stick. Right? Right??? Episode 4: 2026 โ The Sequel Nobody Asked For And yetโฆ Here we are. Another crash. Another flipped vehicle. Another situation where Tiger said, โYeah, I can make that pass,โ like heโs in a video game with unlimited lives. And the wildest part? No alcohol. Zero. Not a drop. Which somehow makes it worse. Because now we canโt even blame bad decisions on being drunk. This is just pure, unfiltered confidence. At this point, Iโm not even joking anymore. Tiger doesnโt need a new car. He needs a designated adult. Somebody whose only job is to say: ๐ โNo, youโre not passing that truck.โ ๐ โNo, youโre not driving today.โ ๐ โMatter of fact, give me the keys.โ Because clearly, Tiger operates under a different set of driving rules. The rest of us follow: Speed limits Traffic signals Basic survival instincts Tiger follows: Vibes Timing โI think I got itโ Hereโs what makes this even crazier. He survives. Every time. Crawls out of flipped vehicles like he just tripped over a curb. Thatโs the kind of luck that convinces you: ๐ โI can keep doing this.โ And thatโs dangerous. Because now weโre watching a man build confidence off survival instead of correction. Now letโs shift from physical chaos to digital chaos. Because while Tiger is out here battling vehiclesโฆ Druski is battling the internetโs moral compass. The setup: โIโm just playing a characterโ Druski recently popped out in full character mode. Wig. Outfit. Voice. Attitude. Portraying what he described as a white conservative woman persona. Now on paper, that sounds like standard comedy. People do characters all the time. But Druski didnโt just do the character. He committed. And thatโs where things gotโฆ spicy. Accuracy is where comedy gets dangerous Hereโs the thing about impressions. If youโre too vague, nobody laughs. If youโre too accurateโฆ everybody gets uncomfortable. Druski landed directly in that second category. The internet watched and collectively said: ๐ โThis is funnyโฆโ ๐ โโฆbut also, wait a minute.โ Because it felt less like a random characterโฆ โฆand more like somebody specific without saying their name. And thatโs where the tension lives. The internetโs favorite game: laugh first, think later The timeline did what it always does. Step 1: Laugh Step 2: Share Step 3: Overanalyze Step 4: Argue Now suddenly, everybodyโs a cultural critic. โIs this offensive?โ โIs this accurate?โ โIs this too far?โ Meanwhile, Druski is probably somewhere like: โYโall were laughing 10 minutes ago.โ Modern comedy is basically Russian roulette Back in the day, comedians tested jokes in small rooms. Now? You post to millions of people instantly and hope you survive the reaction. Druski didnโt test the waters. He cannonballed into controversy like: ๐ โWeโll figure it out later.โ Now hereโs where this all connects. Because on the surface, these two situations have nothing in common. One is about driving. One is about comedy. But underneath? Same mindset. The confidence equation Tiger: โI can make this move.โ Druski: โI can post this.โ No hesitation. No pause. No โmaybe I shouldnโt.โ Just action. The shared delusion: โItโll be fineโ And honestly? Thatโs the funniest part. Because weโve all had that moment. That split second where you think: ๐ โThis might go wrongโฆ but Iโm gonna do it anyway.โ The difference is: We do it privately. They do it publicly. Letโs be real. If this wasnโt funny, nobody would care. But it is funny. Because itโs exaggerated human behavior. Tiger represents physical bad decisions Driving too fast Taking risks Ignoring logic Basically every bad idea youโve ever had in a carโฆ turned up to celebrity level. Druski represents social bad decisions Saying the risky thing Doing the bold joke Ignoring potential backlash That moment where you almost post somethingโฆ โฆand then delete it? Druski hits โpost.โ The internet as the ultimate audience Both of these situations end the same way: With us watching. Judging. Laughing. Reacting. Tigerโs audience: News outlets Sports fans Concerned humans Druskiโs audience: Social media Comment sections People with too much time And both audiences are thinking the same thing: ๐ โThis is wildโฆ but I canโt look away.โ Somebody take the keys (literally and figuratively) At some point, intervention becomes necessary. For Tiger: Take the keys. Hire a driver. Call an Uber. Download an app. Do something. Because at this rate, the cars are losing. For Druski: Maybeโฆ just maybeโฆ Run the joke by one person first. Not to stop you. Just to say: ๐ โHeyโฆ you sure about this?โ Confidence is winning (but at what cost?) If 2026 has taught us anything, itโs this: Confidence will take you places. Sometimes forward. Sometimes into a flipped vehicle. Sometimes into viral controversy. Tiger Woods reminds us that experience doesnโt always equal caution. Druski reminds us that comedy doesnโt come with safety rails. And together? They represent a very specific kind of modern chaos: ๐ Fast decisions ๐ Public consequences ๐ Zero hesitation FINAL LINE Because whether youโre behind the wheel or behind a screenโฆ the most dangerous thing a person can haveโฆ is just enough confidence to believe nothing will go wrong.

Podcasting In A Sea of Podcasting
When you're clacking away at a keyboard at 2:32 am on a Thursday trying to figure out how to connect a writing account to Stripe, instead of working on the podcast you're banking your future happiness on, it's safe to say that your priorities are stupidly out of whack.

You Will Go Up!
I love decorating sometimes. I hate it when things go wrong, and I hate getting on ladders. My husband has disabilities that can cause some distressing symptoms, which can cause him to unknowingly hurt me at night. Due to this, I needed a safe space to sleep and somewhere to focus on myself during the day.
