Why OAP Do2dtun Is Being Summoned by Police: Break In, Assault, Abortions, and More

Here's everything that went down

Wow, this story is...messy! I sometimes just sit and wonder how love that was once so sizzling, it made two people walk down the aisle together, can turn so so sour after it ends.

Nigerian OAP Do2dtun is being summoned by the Nigerian police on the grounds of alleged unlawful entry, malicious damage to property, criminal trespass and illegal use of police officers against his estranged wife, Omotayo. There's a lot to this story so without further ado, let's just get right into it.

How Did All This Start?

Kayode Oladotun popularly known as Do2dtun got married to his now estranged wife, Omotayo nine years ago in 2013. Together, the couple had two children and lived happily in a seemingly blissful marriage.

That was of course until November 2021 when reports came out that Omotayo was in the process of getting divorced from the popular OAP under the grounds of alleged "unending reckless emotional abuse, forced abortion and vicious domestic violence".

What Is Happening Now?

Well now, it seems that even after the divorce proceedings have begun, and the two are no longer together, the abuse has allegedly not stopped from Do2dtun unto Omotayo. According to court documents obtained by a The Punch correspondent and signed by Omotayo's lawyer, Peleumi Olajengbesi, the OAP allegedly forced his wife to abort her third pregnancy as a married woman.

Since then, the court has granted divided custody of both of their children to both Do2dtun and Omotayo, pending the final determination of the lawsuit in court.

Fast forward to December 14, 2022. Omotayo alleges that Do2dtun stormed her Abuja residence with some police men, forcefully broke into her living space, and assaulted both her gateman and staff. In her words, Omotayo said:

OMOTAYO: I had gone into hiding and refused to disclose my actual whereabouts to him as he continued hauling all manner of insults on my person.

Omotayo then ran to the deputy inspector-general of police and allegedly pressed charges of alleged nuisance, unlawful entry, malicious damage, criminal trespass and unlawful use of policemen by Do2dtun.

The petition by Omotayo which was dated December 14, 2022 said the invasion left Omotayo in a "state of emotional distress and fear of imminent danger in the hands of the defendant (Do2dtun) who remains volatile and unpredictable." It went on to say:

"In view of the facts stated in this petition, we humbly request that you use your good office to conduct a dispassionate investigation into our client’s petition and cause an appropriate action in line with the law to be taken against the defendant in order to guarantee the safety of our client and for the interest of justice."

What a messy messy case! Forced abortions, breaking and entering, assault, hiding from exes, this is a lot. How does love turn this sour? I just don't understand.
