Nigerian singer Chidinma Ekile is still after many years in the industry, one of the most beloved musicians in the country. Since Chidinma's transition to gospel music, and because of her very private life, she is not seen as much in secular spaces or played on commercial radio as frequently as she used to be in the past, but still Chidinma has been doing her thing and delivering back to back bangers in the gospel space.

During a new interview with Rubbin' Minds on Channels Television, Chidinma was put into the hot seat. The very private singer was asked point-black by the interviewer about her relationship with Flavour and Kizz Daniel, about if she feels any pressure to get married, and if she ever plans to return to secular music. Here is what Chidinma had to say about these things.

Chidinma during interview

During the interview, Chidinma was asked "You were confronted with a lot of accusations and I'm talking about the whole Flavour, Kizz Daniel - how did you navigate those rumors cuz you can be doing your own thing and then someone behind a keypad just sees something and starts stirring things up". She responded:

CHIDINMA: Oh well, stuff like that always happens in the industry. I just try as much as possible to block out you know the noise and the distractions.

"So they're not true?"

CHIDINMA: Nah.

"You never dated Flavour or Kizz Daniel?"

CHIDINMA: Oh well, I wouldn't even want to talk about that.

"Okay. Well speaking about the dating scene, do you have any special person?"

CHIDINMA: Oh no. Not yet.

"Are you looking to settle soon? I know there's that pressure especially with men and women of God that are at a certain age, they expect you to settle down."

CHIDINMA: No pressure at all. No pressure whatsoever. No pressure, I mean, whenever the time is right, it will be.

"You started off as a secular artiste before transitioning into gospel music. Do you feel that you might still go back to secular music, or maybe inspirational clean music? Or is this move permanent?"

CHIDINMA: Oh well, getting here was quite a journey. Truthfully, it is what I've battled for years you know, but not knowing how to get into it was the issue that I had. But God helping me, I had an encounter, I had a conviction. So I'm here and I'm here to stay. I have never considered going back to secular music. I don't think that would happen.
