If you have been on social media over the last 48 hours, then you'd have probably seen one of your favorite celebrities post about the death of branding expert, Uche Ugo. While it is still unknown what actually caused Uche's death, he had in recent times been complaining online about the poor condition of the Nigerian healthcare system, as well as praising the good work done by health professionals. Because of this reason, many people are assuming that the cause of his death may have been health-related.

Uche Ugo was well-known in the creative indstry but was not in front of the camera and as such isn't widely known in terms of popularity. So for those who may not know who Uche Ugo was and want to know a little bit more about the man fondly referred to as a "friend to all", then here are 5 things you didn't know about the late Uche Ugo.

1. He Was a Specialist in Creativity

Uche worked as a graphic designer, event designer, art director, branding, and communication specialist during his lifetime. He worked on some very popular shows including Bovi's Man on Fire and Iyanya Live in Concert.

2. He's Behind The U.U Series

In 2018, Uche launched the U.U series as an avenue to provide a branding masterclass for entrepreneurs and designers. This series has gone on to positively impact over a thousand learners.

3. He Also Founded KLASSIT

KLASSIT, the online education platform where people can get one-on-one live classes was also founded by Uche Ugo.

4. He Was an Intricate Part of CCI

During his lifetime, Uche Ugo was a Christian and worshipped at the Celebration Church International (CCI) where he served as the head of design for the ministry's worship team, CCI Worship.

5. He's a Shooting Star

Uche Ugo was the receipient of YipAfrica's Shooting Star recognition for Creative Art. He was also one of the top 100 African creators recognized by Selar, and a nominee for the Future Africa Awards for Creativity.

Uche Ugo had a very impressive career, and also formed a lot of wonderful connections and friendships during his time here on earth. My condolences go out to his family, friends, and loved ones at this time. May the soul of Uche Ugo continue to rest in perfect peace.
