What’s waiting?

On the other side

The  Rest room was lush, the theme red velvet with  makeshift painting of monalisa beside the large mirror.

The door to the Restroom opened abruptly and in came a lady in a black dress, she looked around the room before slamming the door and locking it. She paused for a second, then closed her eyes taking a deep breath. The Rest room was even too expensive for her to sit in, Moving to the big mirror, her red stilettos smacked the floor as she moved to look at her reflection.

 She looked miserable.

Her usual beautiful face was now streaked with her favourite La Belle mascara running.

That bastard.

Aggressively she wiped out her purse, almost making everything tumble to the floor.

"..15..14...13.....1--Fuck!"  her makeup tumbled out to white marble floor, her foundation breaking into two large pieces with the content dribbling out . Quickly she rushed into the toilet roll stand and fumbled with the roll, ripping out four square rolls before rushing over to the floor to clean up and throw away the broken glass. It was hard to clean off--brown against white wasn't going wipe off with just plain tissue.

After doing the best she could she discarded the rubbish with shaky fingers before looking back at the mirror. Her hair had gotten even worst now. The curls she tried hiding with her most effective gel wasn't behaving like it normally did on crazy nights with her friends.

Sighing she got some soap from the dispenser and began to scrub it into her foundation stained hands before she opened the tap to wash off the residue.

Her attention went back to the mirror and she just stared. How had that dah gone horribly wrong? Had it been that she arrived late. Or did she not pay close attention to what--

The handle to the toilet jiggled dragging her back from her thought.

" I'm taking a shit!" She yelled turning off the tap hurriedly and glaring at the door hoping they would go away.

"Lady Mersai...I'm sorry to disturb you. But Master requested you come back. Now"

Said a cold masculine voice from the other side of the Rest room door. Mersai face paled as the lump in her throat hardened...she didn't want to go back to that room with THAT man.

Taking a shaky breath she found the strength in her voice and answered.

"Can't a lady shit in peace Henry? Or would you have Miss. Flowers help me do that as well?" Her tone was hard but Henry didn't care for it either way and answered back with even greater spite.

"I would if I wanted to. But I AM a gentleman Lady Mersai. Now hurry out before I get the spare keys"

Mersai listened as his footsteps descended from the door before getting out her gel tube and brush to adjust her hair. She lathered on a good amount before adjusting the hair the poked out in awkward corners, she had even forgot she was sniffling due to her breakdown earlier, merely remembering it made her kiss her teeth angrily. After she was done with readjusting her hair bun,  she walked back to get more tissues to wipe away the mascara stains that had gone under her eye ]  to her cheeks. She then fluffed her hair once more then finally wet her lips.

She was a lady that knew her makeup, so she had her three useful lipstick hades with her.

 Black, Brown  and Pink.

It goes like this, Black to line then the brown followed blending it with the black before finally the pink in the middle. Topping it off with lipgloss.

Her dark skin looked all pale now and her gaze the full of worry and fear. Shaking the bad thoughts away she shuffled in her bag for her lash glue and mascara before ripping off her wet lashes and patting it with a towel ti re-apply back to her lashes.

The door jiggled again and this time made her really mad.

"I said I was busy! do you want me to ruin Masters paintings with my bloody shit!?"

The growl from the door assured her that knew she was tapped in the head. Focusing on her right eye she managed to get both lashes on and ready.

Her reflection glared back revealing her full attire--seductive  black dress, just above the knees barely on the shoulders. Earrings costing a fortune as it shun when the light struck it, She wore a simple necklace with a small diamond dangling near her cleavage to complete the look. She had to give herself the A for being dazzling as she was--no man could resist her.

Endowed in the right places as well and flat in the right places.

She swore she'd leave there alive  to meet her little Nino again to cuddle her to sleep. Yes she would see her baby again and treat her to the ice cream she had been denied a day before--she would give her all the goodness when she left the mansion alive.

Mersai packed her belongings into the purse and looked at her reflection.

The woman from earlier was different from now.

The door clicked then opened suddenly to Henry with a  frown and glare on his old cranky face. Behind him was a cowering  maid that was meant to watch her from earlier sending hateful looks her way.

"This way lady Mersai. And don't you dare disagree." Marsei lips curved into a shivering smile as she chuckled a bit and swayed over to there door, making sure to glare at the maid before stomping out if the restroom with her head held high.

Mersai could feel her legs get wobbly as she walked down the dimly lit hall way. The sound of her heels was the only sound audible as she walked.

"10...9...8..." She began to mutter as she stumbled down the hall, her gaze lingering on the large door leading to the dinning room she'd been in.

The maid beside the entrance was a short snotty thing. Her barely covered black outfit curved around the waist like a second skin, her hair tied up in a sleek neat ponytail--a name tag positioned onto of her heart.

 It read--property of Siamar.

‘That will soon be you.’

Her heart pounded audibly this time as the doors opened.
