Power Book II is one of several titles within the Power universe, alongside two other spin-offs currently airing in Power Book III: Raising Kanan and Power Book IV: Force. When announcing the news, Kathryn Busby, President of Original Programming for Starz, shared in a statement, "The high-octane drama of Power Book II: Ghost continues to resonate with our viewers and we’re thrilled to get season four production underway," but did not disclose the air date for Season 4.

Production on Season 4 commenced shortly before the renewal announcement on January 30, 2023, and continued until July 13, 2023. Now, over seven months since filming concluded, a release should be coming soon for the series.

Season 3 of the popular crime drama followed a production schedule similar to the previous one, with filming taking place from January 2022 to July 2022, and it premiered on Starz in March 2023.

It seems like Season 4 could be just weeks away, as the network prepares for another March debut.

When Power Book 2: Ghost eventually comes back, viewers can anticipate seeing some familiar faces returning. Introducing Sydney Winbush's latest addition, Anya Convington. Anya is the daughter of drug lord Noma and will become a romantic interest to series protagonist Tariq.
