Nigerian musicians Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy are often referred to in the Nigerian music industry as the "Big Three". This name for them has been coined because these three men are three of the biggest artistes out of the country today. Meeting with even just one of these people can be a game changer for any upcoming artiste's career, but then can you imagine meeting all three, and in the same day no less? That is what happened to Nigerian singer Victony.

Victony is best known for his hit songs like "Soweto", "Apollo", "Holy Father", and a number of other solo hits and features. During a new interview with media personality Taymesan on his Tea With Tay podcast, Victony opened up about how he ended up doing a song with Burna Boy, as well as gisted us about the day he met Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy all on the same day. Here is what Victony had to say.

Victony during interview

Speaking about how his feature with Burna Boy came about, as well as speaking about the day he met Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy, on the same day, Victony said:

VICTONY: It was Buju's shoot and I was about to go on stage, and then I see Burna Boy smiling at me. I wanted to ignore like it can't be me na. I just felt like does Burna Boy know who I am? I was like ah ah, why is Burna Boy smiling at me? Then he tells them to "bring him forward, bring him here", and then he shakes me. Ah! Everything seemed like a dream to me. Because let me tell you, I was discussing with my guy earlier in the day that imagine what it would feel like to meet the big 3. So that night, Davido was rehearsing for his show somewhere in Lekki, and I think my manager was there, we went to meet him. Just leaving there, we went to Eko Hotel and I saw Wizkid. So leaving Eko Hotel to Buju's show, I saw Burna. I was still new to the game, I was still on the come up, everything doesn't happen immediately. So I was still on the come up, and seeing Burna Boy and just reminiscing about the conversation I had with my friend in the morning, it was like ah ah. This is crazy. Then Burna Boy is like bro, we need to make music. Bro, I had to twist it in my head like Burna shook my hand last night and told me we had to make music. I had slept, and when I woke up in the morning, I was like: this thing happened oh!

Wow! That is such a rare experience for anybody to have. Meeting three of the biggest names in your industry all in the span of one day, that must have been crazy for Victony.
