The holiday of a life time

Chapter one

On new year’s eve 2004 it was a lovely day and an 18 year old girl called Katherine went on holiday to Spain, it was the first time that she had been on holiday on her own, she was 5ft8, with red hair that was just above shoulder length and hazel eyes, where she met a very nice young man called David who was 1 year older than Katherine, he was about 6ft, with short black hair and brown eyes, but that didn’t bother her because she had fallen in love with him even though she had only just met him.

Katherine rang her family on New Year’s night to let them know that she was having a great time in Spain and to wish them happy New Year and that she had met a very nice guy called David.

David then asked Katherine if she wanted to go out for a Chinese and then go to a bar by the beach to celebrate the New Year and Katherine said yes I’d love to go, then David took Katherine for a midnight walk on the beach.

David accidentally got Katherine drunk at the bar that they went too after that David took Katherine back to his place, the next morning Katherine woke up in David’s with a hangover.

David asked Katherine if she was ok as he knew that she had a hangover from the night before and if she wanted to go for breakfast at the local bakery, then David took Katherine for a walk on the beach and asked her how long she was staying in Spain for, Katherine said I’m here for one year then I’m going back to England.

David and Katherine were out for a while that he asked her if she wanted to go for lunch at one of the many restaurants along the beach and she said yes I'd love to, over lunch David asked Katherine if she would go out with him and she said yes, that night they went on a date and then David took her back to his place, even though Katherine had a hotel booked.

The next morning Katherine rang her hotel that she had been staying in to cancel the room as she had decided to say at David's place while she looked for a house with a pool to live in, by the end of Katherine's first week in Spain she had found a lovely house with a pool which was also by the sea with some help from David.

David took Katherine out to lunch at a cafe near to her new house, after lunch they went back to Katherine's house and had a drink then David offered to help Katherine buy some bits for her house, when they got to her house Katherine asked if David wanted to stay for a bit and go for a swim in her pool.

That night Katherine took David out for a meal at her local chinses, after dinner they went to a bar for a drink, Katherine asked David if he wanted to stay the night and he said yes.

The next morning Katherine woke up feeling sick so she did a pregnancy test and it was positive, she asked David if he wanted to go for breakfast at one of her local bakeries and he said yes, after breakfast they went for a walk along the beach and Katherine told him that she was pregnant.

David was shocked but happy at the same time, the two of them went to a cafe along the beach and had a drink as it was a lovely day, that night Katherine rang her family to see how they were and to tell them that she had found a house and that David had helped her move in, she decided to wait before she said anything about her being pregnant.

Three months later David had moved in with Katherine, two days later they went for Katherine's 12 week scan, they found out that everything was ok with there child, on there way home they decided to go for lunch, David asked Katherine when are you going to tell your family as I'll tell mine as well, that night Katherine rang her family to tell them that she was pregnant and David did the same he rang his family.

That night David and Katherine invited there families out to Spain so they could all celebrate together the two of the were so happy, before they had dinner David asked Katherine if she wanted to go to the beach and she said yes, when they got to the beach David got down on one knee and asked her to marry him and she said yes.

three days later David and Katherine's families arrived in Spain and they all went back to their house, when everyone had settled in they all went out for lunch along the beach, afterwards they all went for a walk as David and Katherine wanted to show them all the area that they now lived in, when they got back to the house they all went for a swim.

That night they all had a bbq for dinner to celebrate David and Katherine's great news, they all drank cava apart from Katherine who didn't drink as she was pregnant, both families were staying with David and Katherine at their house as it was big enough for them all.

The next morning when everyone was they all went out to a cafe for breakfast, then they all went for a walk along the beach before all going back to Dave and Katherine’s house, they all went in the garden and they all went for a swim before hav lunch.

That night Dave and Katherine took everyone out for a chinese, after dinner when they got back to Dave and Katherin’s they all sat out side and had a drink before they all went to bed.

Two weeks later both Dave and Katherines families went home back to England, not long after their families had gone back to England they both went over as it was the last chance they had before their first child was bor.

Six months later on the 10th July 2005, Katherine gave birth to their first child which was a girl that they called rose, the next day their families came back to spain to see the baby, a few days later Katherine was allowed home.
