In after noon an old man in his 60s carrying a little girl, the man so was nice and loving, so worried about the little girl yet there was hope on his face, was satisfied if he have reached the place and the little girl is safe now, who was his Grand daughter and has fallen from height, was sleepy and vomiting frequently. The girl needed surgery and the ward had no space left to accomodate her . When the old man came to know this and that he need to visit another hospital, he agreed and accepted that fact but the hope and glow on his face dampened, however we made some space for them and operated on the little girl, the surgery was success, after surgery, the man was so happy and was sitting by the side of his grand daughter, when he was asked that he need to go out of the ward now, he agreed to go out of the ward however he was worried about the little girl, and said, that she like him so much, it's so hard to leave her bed side.

I've always felt like I'm living my life according to everyone else's plan. My parents, both high-achieving professionals, pushed me to excel in every aspect of my life. I was enrolled in the best schools, tutored in multiple subjects, and encouraged to participate in a plethora of extracurricular activities. As I grew older, the weight of their expectations began to bear down on me. I felt like I was losing myself in the process of trying to meet their standards. I longed to pursue my passion for art, but my parents insisted that I focus on more "practical" subjects like science and math. Despite my reservations, I continued to excel in my studies. I graduated at the top of my class and was accepted into a prestigious university. But as I began my freshman year, I felt a sense of emptiness and disconnection. I was doing everything I was supposed to do, but I wasn't happy. One day, I stumbled upon an art studio on campus. I had never painted before, but something about the smell of the paints and the feel of the brushes drew me in. I began to sneak away to the studio whenever I could, losing myself in the creative process. As I explored my artistic side, I began to realize that I had been living my life according to everyone else's expectations. I didn't know what I wanted or who I was outside of my parents' influence. Saved by Faith: A Miraculous Story of Protection
I’ve heard Psalm 91 for protection so many times, but there’s one story that really blew me away. It’s about a lieutenant from Pennsylvania during World War II. He got shot in the chest, but the bullet was stopped by the Bible he carried in his pocket. The bullet went through several pages and stopped at Psalm 91:7, which says, “A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand, but it won’t come near you.” They found this out after the fact, and I was like, wow! I want that kind of protection too. Since I love walking, I thought, “Hey, I could recite this or pray it when I’m out walking and a dog starts chasing me.” I know it’s kind of a silly reason, haha, but I really did memorize it for protection. Little did I know, God was getting me ready for something much bigger. He saw it coming. Fast forward to after I moved from my apartment. I was trying to get into self-publishing and had printed 500 copies of my book, which I kept at my place in Quezon City. Remember this detail, okay? The house I was living in was an old, partly wooden ancestral home. One night, while walking home, I noticed the road was jam-packed with traffic, and sirens were blaring everywhere. Every few minutes, more fire trucks showed up, adding to the chaos. As I got closer to my house, I started getting anxious because the fire trucks were heading in the same direction as me. A small voice reminded me of Psalm 91, and I started quietly reciting it as my knees got weak and I broke out in a cold sweat. I didn’t stop whispering it. In my head, I was picturing all my books, appliances, clothes, laptop, and other stuff going up in flames. But the Holy Spirit gave me the strength to trust God, filling me with peace. Because of that peace, I even stopped at my favorite food stall on the way and had the nerve to eat while watching all the fire trucks drive by. Honestly, I was just trying to act brave and not freak out. But part of me was saying, “If that’s your house, you can always start over. At least you’re still alive.” After eating, I got closer to my street and couldn’t believe what I saw. All the fire trucks were parked right in front of the compound where I lived. But instead of freaking out, all my anxiety just melted away. I walked into our compound and saw about ten firefighters on top of the house inside, with others surrounding the fire from different areas. Here’s the crazy part: The fire stopped just one wall away from our compound. Remember, the house I was in was mostly made of wood, while the other house was concrete. When I got inside, I felt this deep peace, completely unaffected by the chaos outside. All my stuff was safe, including my precious books. It felt like angels were guarding my room. I dropped to my knees and thanked God, crying because I knew it was His protection. Now, don’t get me wrong—I wasn’t happy about what happened to our neighbors. It broke my heart to see their hard-earned home go up in flames. But by God’s grace, I was safe, and so were my belongings. I’m also thankful that no one lost their life that night. This is why we should never take prayers for protection lightly. That fire and chaos didn’t come from God. It’s not in His nature to “kill, steal, and destroy”—we know who’s behind that. There’s a reason why God gave us Psalm 91 to pray or declare over our lives daily. There might be more times God’s saved us than we realize, so let’s thank Him for that. God loves you so much, which is why the enemy hates you just as much. But God has the final say and will protect you as long as you let Him. “For how He wishes He could gather us like chicks under His wings, but we don’t allow Him to.” I pray for your protection, especially in these dangerous times. May you be covered by the blood of Jesus Christ so that death will pass you by. In Jesus’ name, Amen. I hope this story gives you confidence in Him in your everyday life, helping you to let go of fear and anxiety.
