The unbreakable human spirit
The unbreakable human spirit is one of the most fascinating and powerful forces in the world. It’s the inner strength that pushes people to keep going, no matter the challenges they face. It’s an essence that allows humans to rise above pain, adversity, and hardship, showing time and time again that they can endure far more than they ever thought possible.

Where Have Those Days of Friendship Gone?
Where Have Those Days of Friendship Gone? Where have those days gone when friendship was not just a relationship but the very essence of life? Those days when sitting on the school steps, chatting endlessly, getting drenched in the rain, playfully splashing water at each other, and later hiding those wet clothes from our mothers out of fear but laughing uncontrollably – all of it feels so vividly etched in memory even today. Those were days of innocent friendship... a bond without selfishness, without expectations. Sharing lunch during recess, tasting each other’s favourite dishes, and finding immense joy in such simple acts – there was magic hidden in those little moments. If someone got a new pen, it was mandatory for everyone to use it before the school day ended. There was no room for jealousy or competition, only pure happiness in each other’s joys. Fights did happen, misunderstandings arose, but they never lasted long. A quarrel in the morning would turn into laughter by afternoon. The concept of 'not talking' would last for just a few hours because ego had no place in that friendship. We played pranks, teased each other, but even in those mischievous acts, there was affection. In those playful smiles and innocent tears, there was a bond of togetherness that words could never define. But today, everything has changed. Friends are still there, but the essence of friendship is lost. People are around, yet hearts have drifted apart. There are thousands of ‘friends’ on social media, but not a single true friend by the side. We have emojis to express laughter, but the genuine warmth behind those smiles is missing. Where did that friendship go, the one where there was always time for each other? Today, even with plenty of time, meetings are limited to online platforms. Feelings are confined to text messages, and instead of opening up to each other, people find solace in updating their ‘status.’ The digital age has certainly brought people closer virtually but has widened the emotional gap between them. Do you remember those moments when after a fight, we would walk away, turning our backs on each other, but before reaching the end of the street, we’d glance back... and the moment our eyes met, we would run back and hug each other tightly? Today, arguments still happen, but they are followed by prolonged silences, sometimes even permanent ones. Where have those days gone when there was no ‘I’ in relationships, only ‘we’? Where is that emotion which kept humanity alive? Even after achieving success and reaching the pinnacle of life, the void left by the absence of genuine friendship lingers painfully in the heart. Truly... where have those days of friendship gone? Perhaps, we are the ones who left them behind as we moved forward. It’s time to turn back and look for those lost days. It’s time to revisit those memories when a fight would start over a piece of chocolate, but the same chocolate, when shared, would make the friendship sweeter again. Let’s take a moment to call our old friends, go beyond the confines of social media and meet face-to-face, look into each other’s eyes, and have heart-to-heart conversations. Because friendship never grows old, it just waits silently in the corners of our hearts. Where have those days of friendship gone? They are still within us... waiting to be revived once more.

The Queer Kingdom: For the love of the Zoo
It was a cloudy Wednesday morning at Sunnyside Zoo when the interns gathered for their first animal behavior lecture. Dr. Susan Patel, the lead zoologist, stood in front of a whiteboard scribbled with diagrams of penguins, giraffes, and geese. “Today,” she began, “we’re going to talk about a topic that isn’t often covered in textbooks but is just as important: the queerness of the animal kingdom.”

10 THINGS I LEARN FROM RICHARD BRANSON
The other day I went out at night and fell asleep on a park bench near the beach in cape town I opened my eyes I pretended I had just landed on the world. I knew nothing. Now I had to learn everything. That's the way I should've been when I was younger. Maybe I would've avoided many problems if I just realized I knew nothing. ALL SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE started off knowing nothing. They studied the people who came before them. Who studied the people who came before them. And so on. I really admire Richard Branson. He's one to study. Richard Branson is the perfect example of "Ready. Fire. Aim." He starts something. He does it. Then he looks to see if he hit the target. If not, he starts something new. I love the story of how he started Virgin Airlines. He was already successful from Virgin Music. Note that now he has nothing to do with Virgin Music. I don't even know if Virgin Music still exists. All that is left is Virgin Air. A plane had gotten cancelled. Everyone was upset. But Branson wasn't upset. He found a plane that would take him. But he didn't have the money. One good thing to start with always is to imagine the obstacles gone. Imagine, "if I wasn't worried about money, would I still make this trip." I call this IDEA SUBTRACTION. Subtract the perceived obstacles to an idea and (BAM!) you find that many more ideas are born from that. First, he arranged to rent the private plane, even though he still had the obstacle ("no money"). Then he put up a sign: "$29 for a plane to Puerto Rico." And everyone signed up. Suddenly he had the money for the plane. That was his proof-of-concept for an airline. Now that is his main business and it's worth billions. Here's ten quotes from him that I think are valuable.
