Vivian and Wade were high school sweethearts, it was time for their last prom. Wade wanted to make sure it was perfect for his sweetheart Vivian. He rented a tux, a limo, and got her a beautiful corsage.

Vivian was getting ready, she couldn’t stop looking at her gorgeous red gown. She had long flowing locks with a few flowers in her hair. She slides her gown on, with the slit up her leg, and applies her glowing red lipstick. Vivian was stunning and ready for Wade.

The limo pulls up to Vivian's house with Wade stepping out the back. He knocks on her door very anxiously. Vivian walks down her steps and opens the door, Wade was in shock at how beautiful his sweetheart looked.

"You look amazing," Wade said.

Vivian smiles at him. "You look very handsome."

They both couldn't stop smiling at each other. Off they went to the prom, Vivian couldn't believe how perfect things were going.

Wade steps out to open the door for Vivian and into the school, they went hand in hand. Music was blasting, pictures were being taken, the night was unbelievable. Vivian didn't want the night to end, but sure enough, the last song was being played. Wade and Vivian held each other and swayed to the music, gazing into each other's eyes, as if no one else existed. Everyone was exiting the prom and going home. The limo took Vivian and Wade to a restaurant, where they could have just a little more time for their perfect evening.

Vivian and Wade talked about all the memories they had in high school, and how they both planned on going to college, but not the same college. In fact, their school was miles away from one another, but that didn't worry them. They knew their love was unstoppable.

"Time to head home," Wade said.

They got into the limo and left. Wade walked Vivian to her door and gave her a romantic kiss to remind her of this special night. What a night to remember right?

Graduation day came and Vivian was valedictorian. All the students walked in, excited for the future. Vivian made her speech about holding on to the memories they had walking down the halls, and about being prepared for what the future may hold. Class of 2010 will forever be remembered were the last words she spoke to her classmates.

Vivian's parents were so excited but very nervous that she was heading to college in a few short months. She was becoming a doctor. While Wade's parents were very concerned, because Wade didn't want to follow in his father's footsteps as a vet, he wanted to become an engineer. That didn't stop Wade, he wanted to go to the school of his dreams and have the job he always wanted.

It was time to put the education aside, it was summer! Wade and Vivian didn't even think about school, they just wanted to spend their summer together. Every week they would have three dates. The dates were different every time, from watching a movie to laying underneath the stars in the back of Wade's truck. Vivian and Wade have been together for over three years. Wade wanted to marry her but waited patiently to pop the question until the right moment.

Vivian had no idea where Wade was taking her on a special date. Wade drove up on the mountains to the overlook.

"You can see everything, it's so beautiful up here," Vivian said.

At the moment, Wade thought it's now or never, so he got on one knee, looked up to his beautiful sweetheart and said.

"You have been my sweetheart for over three years now, I love you more than you could ever imagine. I would be honored if you would become my wife. Vivian, will you marry me?"

Vivian with tears down her face said "Yes, yes, yes!"

Summertime had come to an end and it was time for them to depart and go to college. They agreed to visit each other on holidays, the summer, and also write letters every day to one another. Packing up for college, they helped each other move into their new dorm.

"One last hug and kiss then I have to get ready for class tomorrow," said Vivian.

She didn't want Wade to see the tears that she was holding back.

The college years flew by for Wade, but Vivian still had one more year. Wade would call Vivian every night, and continued writing letters. She couldn’t wait to be a Doctor and marry Wade. They both agreed the wedding would be after they both graduated college.

Finally, Vivian was a doctor and Wade had found a job being an engineer. Vivian wanted to work in a hospital. She applied to a couple different ones, and about a week later she got a call from a hospital that wanted to hire her that was close to home.

They started planning their wedding but didn’t have a date yet. The first thing Vivian wanted to get for the wedding was her dress, she found the perfect one. A Cinderella ball gown, it was strapless, with a v-neckline, lace, and very beautiful. She fell in love with the dress the moment she saw it. Vivian told Wade I think it’s time we set a day.

All the planning was done and the wedding was just a week away. Vivian had every detail done, and Wade wanted this day to be perfect for her just like he did at the high school prom. Another perfect memory for his bride to be.

Their wedding day is here, Vivian’s mother wanted to fix her daughter up, and give her the veil she used in her wedding. People started to show up and the Groom was very excited. He was greeting everyone that came to their special day. Vivian couldn’t wait to say I do. She slides in her gown and the memory occurred to her of their last prom.

Her mother adds the pearl necklace as Vivian looks down and feels each bead through her fingers, tears began to fill her eyes. She felt like the luckiest woman in the world to have such an amazing fiance. The wedding music began to play and the wedding party started to walk down the aisle.

Vivian’s father kissed her forehead softly, they opened the doors and there he was, the man of her dreams looking back at her. Wade began to cry as he sees his bride walking down the aisle to him. The priest began with the ceremony. Hand in hand they both could feel how nervous each other was, and you may now kiss the bride. They were married!

Wade took Vivian to the mountains where he proposed to her for their honeymoon. It wasn’t much, but Vivian didn’t care it was the memories they shared at that spot.

“This is perfect,” Vivian said.

Little did Vivian know there was a cabin just a few minutes from the overlook that Wade reserved for them. Two high school sweethearts are now happily married always looking back on their memories.
