A fast that limits your consumption of substances other than water is known as a "water fast." What would happen if you went on a lifelong water fast instead of the typical few days? You couldn't be okay, would you?

Water is essential for our health, and it can have a lot of benefits. Drinking water regularly can help lower the risk of heart disease, diabetes, and cancer. However, a water-only diet might be the best way to go. What do you think about this?

On a "water fast" You will likely begin to feel hungry and angry, but in a controlled manner.

This is because your body's glucose supply would eventually deplete. Glucose is the primary energy source for your body and gets stored up when you consume carbohydrates. However, since you have decided to stop eating, your body will start searching for its next source of glucose.

You have the potential to lose 2 kg (4.4 lb) per day, and this is because of the combination of dehydration and an electrolyte imbalance. As a result, your body adapts to the absence of food and enters a state of ketosis, using fat for energy instead of glucose. You may experience an improvement in your condition, but it is essential not to be deceived, as your body will still be under stress. Your survival time would depend on the number of fat reserves you have, but once they are depleted, your body would break down muscle for energy as there would be no fat left to burn.

Remember that your heart is a muscle; depriving it of fuel can be extremely hazardous. When your heart lacks the necessary energy, your pulse and blood pressure can drop significantly, making it difficult to circulate blood normally. At this stage, your body would have already broken down most of your proteins, and you would find it challenging to think clearly. All of these symptoms are a result of starvation.

Your digestive system would suffer significant damage, resulting in stomach pain, vomiting, and potential bacterial infections. This would compound your problems, as your body would be in a state of malnutrition, leaving you feeling weaker than ever. You should expect various health issues, including dizziness, headaches, and difficulty concentrating. As time passes, your condition will continue to deteriorate, with more severe symptoms like extreme fatigue, rapid weight loss, and muscle wasting becoming increasingly pronounced.

In addition to the other issues, you must be concerned about severe health complications such as kidney failure or sepsis. It's evident from your appearance that you would be extremely weak and unable to perform even simple tasks independently. Furthermore, you would be highly vulnerable to infections or organ failure, the leading causes of death among malnourished people. It's worth noting that most deaths are not caused by hunger but rather by infectious diseases that feed on a weakened immune system produced by starvation. This is due to a lack of essential vitamins and minerals to maintain the immune system, leaving you vulnerable to harmful germs.

It's improbable that you would survive for an extended period on a diet consisting of only water. You would undoubtedly suffer from severe malnutrition and various health issues. Nonetheless, you accomplished your goal, and we're dispatching medical personnel to your location. However, was it worth it? The answer is no. A water-only diet is not sustainable in the long run, and a balanced diet is critical for maintaining good health. Nevertheless, it's fascinating to consider that despite being on the brink of survival, you survived for 70 days. It's a testament to the human body's resilience.

What other options do we have? Have you considered a month-long diet consisting solely of Coca-Cola? If you're interested, grab yourself a soda from the refrigerator. However, that's a topic for another discussion.
