Nigerian singer and actress Seyi Shay has been completely off the grid for about a year now, and it has been for good reason. Seyi Shay last year became a new mother to her baby girl, Issalove.

Now, the singer is back in the spotlight and this time around, she is back with a new visual podcast titled 'No Holds Barred'. In promotion of the upcoming podcast, Seyi Shay did a quick question and answer session where she opened up briefly about how mom life has been treating her and also about, get this, her WEDDING, which already apparently happened. Here is what Seyi Shay had to say about the whole thing.

Speaking first of all about how mom life is treating her, Seyi Shay said:

SEYI SHAY: Mom life is great. Happy to be a mom but it is tiring. All I have to say is if you haven't kids yet, don't rush. Please live your life. Balancing motherhood and career is hard. It's really hard. Man do I have stories to tell.

My baby is fine. Her name is Issa, Issalove, we made that name up completely, you know we did. She's great. She's growing, she's trying to walk right now so it's really a joy to see that. I feel very proud and happy. I have my best friend and my baby and everything.

Motherhood changes everybody. Everybody that I have spoken to that is a new mum, trust me, they have completely transformed. Their character, their personality, their life, their thoughts, their focus, their reasoning, their purpose, everything has changed. I am completely different to how I was a year ago. I feel it, I see it, I love it though. I've really grown, but I think also that God gave me this child at this age and this time of my life because He knows exactly what I needed and when I needed it, you understand.

Then Seyi Shay read the question "In an interview with Blank Digital, you talked about your white wedding coming soon. How far?" and responded very surprisingly:

SEYI SHAY: It already happened! Goddamn. I am a married woman. I have been cuffed. I think he would say he's been cuffed. But yeah, we already did that and it was lovely and it was beautiful, and I never really wanted to get married really my whole life. I just always wanted to have a kid. But I feel like getting married has to be something like just happens because you feel like it feels right, and it felt right.

Wow! Not Seyi Shay now being a fully married woman and not even telling anybody until now. Big congratulations to the songstress, on not only her wedding, but also on motherhood so far.
