Really look at who you're talking about before you speak

So recently I heard several people making comments about Jelly Roll and Dolly Parton that I would like to speak about.

So let's talk about Jelly Roll first. While he was host. ing Jimmy Kimmel one night he said "From one fat pig to another take it from me physical fitness is important and trust me you will be happy to see your penis again." Then the next night he also said, "You got to admit that there's something so poetic about it being so expensive to wipe our ass because the president is full of shit." The first comment really got people upset. They're boycotting Jelly's music now. This is kind of comical to me seeing as Trump has called people piggy, slobs and nasty. He has also mocked people with disabilities. Also the president has an approval rating of negative 26 at the time of the writing of this post. Think about that the president that says mean things about other people have people who will get mad when other people will do the same thing to him. How does he have a negative approval rating and supporters? I guess Trump supporters (and Trump) can dish it out but can't take it. Plus Jelly is a guy who is covered in tattoos and been in prison (and done drugs), we're really shocked that he has no problem with questioning or making fun of authority and the goverment?

Also writers note: I don't support Trump so if that makes you not want to read my stuff then that's fine. I think we should be allowed to support the politician we chose, that's what America should be about. Let's stop making everything political.

Now on to Dolly Parton. Yes there are people who are saying bad things about Dolly Parton. I can't believe it either. There are people saying she was a racist because of something that was said in one of her books. From what I can tell from what people are saying Dolly was saying that she watched a family member say racist things and she didn't know what to do. Dolly was a young kid and probably didn't know what to do or say to that. People were also saying that Dolly wasn't really a Christian if she was supporting the LGBT community. Well if you were a real Christian you wouldn't be judging or hating people. She was just living out her faith in a way that made sense for her. She always said that it wasn't her job to condemn people or judge them, that was God's job. That's actually a more biblical way to live. People also judged her for donating money to covid shot research. Vaccines help people with a lot of different diseases.

People are allowed to give their money and support wherever they see fit. They can live out their life, faith and politics however they see fit. The only reason people living out their life/faith/politics would be a problem is if it led to pedophilia or violence.

It seems like we have a problem with celebrities expressing opinions that differ than ours. We're all allowed or should be allowed to have their own opinions and beliefs. If we want the freedom to believe and say what we want than we got to give other people the same luxuries.

We get too offended by what celebrities are saying and honestly it's probably not any different than what others are saying in their private conversations or thoughts. Also people will say negative things no matter what.

My advice? Live and let live! Who cares if you don't like other people? No need to announce on socials if you are boycotting or not liking someone.
