ODI, originally from Taiwan, used to be a household name in Taiwan as a singer and variety show host. In 2008, Odi joined Hunan TV's popular show Day Day Up and quickly won over mainland audiences with his quick-witted and humorous hosting style and all-around talent. In March 2009, he won the award of "Most Potential Host" jointly awarded by Variety and Sohu Entertainment Channel.
