Nigerian Celebrities React to Death of Saint Obi (Photos)

News has come this evening that the veteran Nollywood actor, Saint Obi, has reportedly passed away. The actor, whose real name was Obinna Nwafor, reportedly passed away on Monday, the 7th of May, 2023. His death reportedly came after he had spent several months travelling to the hospital for the treatment of an unspecified illness. According to blogger Moji Delano, a source disclosed that the actor, who he had seen a couple of times and recognized as Saint Obi, had died on Sunday and that the following day, his body was taken to the morgue at JUTH. This was after a visit to his sister’s residence in Jos. The report is that Saint Obi had recently relocated to his sister’s home in Jos, the capital of the Plateau State, and was frequently spotted being transported to the hospital.

During his acting career, Saint Obi starred in movies including State of Emergency, Take Me to Mama, Royal Palace, Festival of Fire, and more.
