On the subway, two girls are sitting next to each other. They look very much alike, similar hair length and color, facial features, ways of holding their body.

One is wearing a long tapered coat, the other a sporty vest over a jean jacket. They could be sisters but they are not talking or even seem to know each other.

One of them give the other a curious look. The other does the same. They both smile.

Again, their eyes meet, they look so alike they can not believe their own eyes. Both girls giggle.

The girl with the long coat looks at the information sign, it says the time and date; Tuesday, April 2, 10:28. The weather is sunny and the temperature is mild. Next stop, Bloomingdale Station.

The train comes to a stop, the doors open.

The girl with the long coat gets ready to leave. She stands up, takes her purse, sits it on her shoulder. She tighten her coat around her waist. A little black book slides out from her pocket. Oblivious, she gives the other girl a last smile and walks out, along with the crowd.

Still sitting, the other girl smiles back. She looks at the seat next to her, and sees the black book. She hesitates then takes it.

She looks up, the last passengers are walking out, the doors are about to close.

The girl with the jean jacket runs out.

Standing on the deck, holding the black book in her hand, she looks around. The long coat girl is nowhere to be seen.

People are walking in and out.

A tall, slim guy walks close to her and looks at her straight in the eyes. He smiles. She blushes. He keeps walking.

She walks out in the opposite directions. On the street, she looks for the long coat girl. She is still nowhere to be seen.

She looks at the black book, it is small, soft and has an elastic keeping it close. She unwraps the elastic and opens the book.

On one page, a beautiful drawing made of doodles and flowers.

On the other page, a conversation.

- if not now then when?

- tomorrow, 11 am…

- where?

- St-Vincent, on Third street…

The girl with the jean jacket looks up, she is at the corner of Third street.

She looks at her watch; 10:42.

She turns the page, again, a drawing on one side, and words on the other.

- how will I know who you are?

- I will have a little black book in my hand…

The girl with the jean jacket gasp, now she has the little black book in her hand.

She turns another page, flowers and words.

- and you, will you have the 20 000$...

The girl with the jean jacket can not believe her eyes, 20 000 bucks.

She takes her cellphone, it is 10:44.

She types St-Vincent in her map, it is a few blocks away.

She starts walking in the direction, keeping an eye out for the girl with the long coat.

The sidewalks are busy with people.

A red light has her wait to cross the street.

She sees the long coat girl coming out of a door not too far away.

The light turns green, the girl with the jean jacket starts to fast walk in the crowd.

The girl with the long coat approaches the St-Vincent’s sign.

Another red light. Impatiently waiting, the girl with the jean jacket sees the tall, slim man accross the street.

The light comes green, she spots the girl with the long coat and sprint to her.

- hey!

The girl with the long coat turns around, surprise to see the girl with the jean jacket.

- this fell out of your pocket…

The girl with the long coat is a bit shocked, she had lost the little black book.

The girl with the jean jacket hands the book to the girl with the long coat.

As she reaches to take the book, the tall slim man comes close.

The girls sees him.

His eyes go from one girl to the other with an amused twinkle.

Both girls have their hand on the little black book…
