Johnny Depp Is STILL The Victim Here!

How Lies Destroy People

Before I write a single word I want to make it clear that everything I’m writing in this article does not come from any first-hand knowledge or relationship with either of the parties involved. All of what I’m about to say is my opinion based on the evidence that has already been made public.

Anyone who is familiar with my work for Vocal.Media might have read a piece I wrote a few months ago titled “Believe It Or Not, Johnny Depp Is The Victim Here”, where I wrote about the possible dynamic of Johnny Depp’s short marriage to Amber Heard. The allegations of domestic abuse, the defamation lawsuit Johnny Depp filed, and his former lovers coming to his defense as well as the audio tapes of Amber Heard admitting multiple times to physically assaulting Johnny Depp.

In the past couple of weeks the outcome the lawsuit came to light with Johnny Depp losing the lawsuit. Despite the large amount of evidence he had to after, and never being convicted of any charges of domestic abuse, the courts went in favor of the British tabloid which ran the story of Johnny Depp being a “Wife Beater”. Since this loss, Johnny Depp was also forced to resign from his role as Grindlewald in the “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” film series. As a result, reports have come out that Johnny Depp is willing to take a much lower salary than his usual in order to work.

While all of this is happening, Amber Heard continues to work and be attached to the “Aquaman” franchise.

What has come out of this entire situation I can’t even begin to wrap my head around. All of the evidence shows this tabloid has no ground to call Johnny Depp a “wife beater” or even implying that kind of narrative. One could argue they have the right to say and write anything they want, which is true, in the case that there is tangible evidence that Johnny Depp did commit these crimes. There’s more evidence that Amber Heard was the abuser and from day one has taken advantage of the fact that she’s a woman younger than her husband, who just had the fortune (or misfortune) to have made these allegations in the rise of the MeToo movement. How the courts weren’t able to see this is astonishing to me.

What this entire thing has done has made it even harder for the men who are abused by their spouses (trust me, Johnny Depp isn’t the only man out there to be abused by his wife) to come forward and share their stories and seek justice. What this has also done is make it harder for some women to come forward, forcing them to likely fear “What if they think I lied like Amber Heard?”, in a time where women do need to be heard.

I’ve talked to numerous people in my inner circle of friends and coworkers and I can say that at least 90% percent of them believe Johnny Depp is innocent and Amber Heard lied; many of them even signing petitions to have Amber Heard fired from any future film projects in the near future.

As someone who goes out of their way to speak for all victims (whether they’re male or female) this entire story has just broken my heart. Everyone deserves their day in court. Whether that is the court of public opinion or the legal courts, everyone deserves to have their day. Amber Heard hers, where very little evidence was provided; if anything it was evidence which proved Johnny Depp’s side of the story. Johnny Depp had his day, to which he provided audiotapes of fights between he and his ex-wife, had multiple former lovers coming forward to testify that Johnny Depp had never abused them in their time with him; thereby showing he has no pattern of abusive behavior. Even with all of this and more, the legal system, and the court of public opinion, have all turned against him. This is wrong beyond belief.

Now Johnny Depp is seeing the result of one person’s persistent lies.

With all of this being said, one could say losing the role in the “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” franchise might have been a blessing in disguise.

For many who might not know (although you’d have to be living under a rock not to know) J.K. Rowling, author of the Harry Potter series and screenwriter of the former mentioned franchise, has alienating the Transgender community with multiple tweets either praising others with Transgender ideology, making posts implying her own Transphobic thoughts, and then finally publishing an essay where she made her Transphobic thoughts more than clear. I’ve also written an article on that subject as well titled “I’m Divorcing J.K. Rowling, and I’m Keeping The Kids” for Vocal.Media. I mention this for the reason that many of Johnny Depp’s fans may very well be members of the LGBTQ community, and it might be better for him to distance himself from someone with that kind of hateful ideology.

On a more personal level, time away from the film industry might give Johnny Depp much time to heal from what has no doubt been a very traumatic experience. To have loved someone, realized this person wasn’t who he thought she was, and then have everything dragged out in court when everything could have easily been handled privately; I don’t doubt this has caused him a tremendous amount of pain. So I would say to take this time for himself, his children, his music, his painting, and creating a platform with Instagram to maybe help other men who have gone through a similar experience. His life does not have to end because of this woman’s lies. Good can come out of it. Good will come out of it. I stand by what I said in my last article about the Johnny Depp and Amber Heard saga, that Johnny Depp will be fine. After time to heal, time to think about what he wants at this point in his life after all of this insanity, he will find the right film project for a comeback. Should he want it that is; I wouldn’t be surprised if we don’t say much from him in films for a long time, but instead with his music and his art. He will be fine. He will be okay. That’s how it goes for people who tell the truth and that is what he has done.

For Amber Heard on the other hand, I also stand by what I said before.

She will be remembered for being a woman who lied when women needed a real voice to speak for them, a woman who would tell the truth, who wouldn’t later be discovered as the most evil player in this entire situation. And yes, I used the word “evil” because that’s what she is. A person has to be evil to do something like this and know people know she’s lying. To force children to bear the abuse of spectators making claims about their father when’s there’s no proof to the claims, that’s evil. She’s been allowed to work, when it’s clear she’s lied with the audiotapes and numerous tapes coming out with her making shocking statements. She is an evil sick person who is in desperate need of help, and I have no trouble saying it.
