Trying to pick the best topic to begin my foray into the unknown and it is so hard. How does one introduce themselves to the world without looking too insane, whiney, or pathetic? How does one cover the darkness in the world with humor and sincerity?

Please be patient as I find the words, any words.

**May contain spoilers of the TV Show Kidding starring Jim Carrey.**

I spent last night binge-watching Kidding starring Jim Carrey on Crave. I always remember the interview Jim Carrey did about Andy Kaufman and himself. How every movie he has done reflected what was going on in his life, how he was feeling, his emotional state. He is, yet again, flayed out for all to see.

Character: Jeff Pickles portrayed by Jim Carrey

All he wants is to talk about is death, pain and moving forward, yet, no matter what happens, no one will let him. Jeff moves through life, being an amazing person, helping those who need help, putting the bad things that people have done aside, and seeing them for who they are. Humans in need, in pain, in trouble. No matter what they have done to others, he sees what others refuse to.

With this rare gift, there is also pain, internal torture, unable to discuss his true emotions with the other characters causes Jeff to become destructive.

Watching how an amazing character can go bad because of his inability to voice his emotions and concerns out loud, being taken advantage of by family members, is heartbreaking.

Mr. Pickle’s father Seb is a man from the past. Do not talk about your feelings, “Be a man” mentality, focus on the money.

He takes advantage of Jeff and never listens to him, he focuses on the Sponsors, the money, the Brand.

The sister, who hides her talent and drive to help support others around her, she'd rather be in a loveless marriage that allows her daughter to not from a broken home instead of showing her daughter to always focus on herself and her personal happiness first.

Who are you? The father, the son, the daughter.

Would you be Jeff? Could you be him?

Could you push your anger aside to help the person who accidentally killed your child?

Would you be able to be a friend to a mass murderer who was seeking redemption?

Would you give all the profits that you made to charities all over the world?

Can you be 100% honest and truthful to all humans, in a loving and positive way?

And even with all those great things going for him, Jeff still becomes a human engulfed in rage, frustration, and pain, allowing his negative emotions to rule his life, slowly destroy everything that he holds true and right.

It is a beautifully dark script that pulls you in, makes you laugh, and shows you just how truly beautiful all humanity can be if they just look past the rage and anger and see humans in need.

We as humans need to focus on the hard issues, the uncomfortable ones, the ones that make you anxious and tongue-tied at the mere thought of discussing these items.

Do you remember Mr. Roger’s Neighbourhood or perhaps Mr. Dressup?

They tackled so many issues in life that people thought were taboo and inappropriate for children. They did it with a calm and gentle manner that made you wish you could talk to your children just the same.

This is what I want to give you.

Support, a talking point.

A hilarious read as I go through my own personal issues and struggles.

I adore your time and shall share more with you soon.

XOXO
