Pere on TVC's "Seven of Seven" show

During his appearance, Pere was asked "Before entering Big Brother, you were already in the entertainment industry. Are you one of those Big Brother guys that don't want to be affiliated or associated with Big Brother anymore? Because we've seen a couple that are like oh no I've passed that stage" Pere responded:

Look, Big Brother will forever be the - I can't find the word, but Big Brother will always be there. That was the platform that you had that launched you into whatever you're doing today as a person. So I feel I will always want to be associated with the brand Big Brother. Unfortunately for some of those people that don't want to be associated, na their palava be that o. That's their problem.

"You once said 'Forget this celebrity BS, I'm going to stand on the pulpit someday and I'm going to preach the gospel to tens of millions. It's my dream and the one last thing I have to do before leaving earth.' This is your chance to expatiate. What did you mean?"

Praise the Lord! Look when I'm a minister, I'm a minister. If I like I can wear khaki, it doesn't matter how I dress. I can open the shirt small. I'm a single minister. Jesus did not discriminate, so I will get all. Even the ashawos that are on Allen, they can come to church. No be joke. Jokes apart, I do have a calling. It's not something that is normal to say especially in a social setting because most people trivialize God in today's world. But I do have a calling and I've done a lot of things for the kingdom of God.

"One of your most distinguishing features are your teeth. Yeah, you've certainly confirmed you had work done on them didn't you?"

I woke up like this [laughs]. I did actually, I worked on them.

"How much did it really cost?"

An upwards of $15,000.

"In naira?"

I don't know, with the exchange rate now, you're looking at about upwards of 8 million naira.

Wow! An upwards of N8 million just to change his teeth, that is so wild to me. I didn't know teeth was that expensive. What do you think about what Pere said? Let me know your thoughts by leaving a comment either below or on my Jide Okonjo Facebook post.
