How 11 Nigerian Celebrities Celebrated Valentines This Year (2024)

It was February 14th yesterday, which means only one thing: it was VALENTINE'S DAY. A day for lovers. And this year, the lovers were really loving on each other. Valentine's Day is the day for couples to make sweet posts about each other, and treat themselves to beautiful, special treats, etc.

In case you didn't keep up with the lovers yesterday, I thought I would bring you a compilation of the happenings of the day. Here's how 11 different Nigerian celebrities celebrated Valentine's day yesterday.

1. Khafi

Big Brother Naija alums Khafi and Gedoni spent their Valentine's day having dinner at a Michelin star rated West African restaurant. Khafi took to social media to share the pictures along with the caption which read in part:

KHAFI: Get you a man that makes you grin. Happy Valentines Day beautiful people. And happy Valentines to that very man named GEDONI. We had a delicious time simply celebrating our love over some Michelin star rated West African food (woop woop!) and I couldn’t ask for more.

2. Real Warri Pikin

Real Warri Pikin and her husband Ikechukwu celebrated Valentine's yesterday by doing a couple's photoshoot before heading out later for date night.

3. Moyo Lawal

It wasn't all about lovers though. Actress Moyo Lawal celebrated her valentine's day by giving back to young children in need.

4. Tekno

Musician Tekno celebrated his Valentine's day in Dubai with a mystery woman.

5. Lasisi Elenu

Comedian and skitmaker Lasisi Elenu headed to Paris with his boo for a romantic Valentine's trip. Lasisi posted the images and videos from the trip while writing on social media saying:

6. Mike Godson

It's not only about going out with lovers, Mike Godson celebrated his Valentine's Day hanging out with his boys.

7. Tiwa Savage

Singer Tiwa Savage got an unexpected surprise from a mystery lover. She shared images and video of herself walking into a room covered with flowers and balloons captioning the post:

TIWA SAVAGE: Wow wow wow...abeg thank you to whoever this is from ooo. I was not expecting anything like this from anyone wow.

8. Iyabo Ojo

Actress Iyabo Ojo celebrated her Valentine's day by going to the club at night, but earlier in the day, she also got celebrated by her boyfriend Paulo who sent her alert. She wrote on social media thanking him saying:

9. Victony

Nigerian singer Victony celebrated his Valentine's day by surprising his fans with a free mini-concert at the mall.

10. Lateef Adedimeji

Lateef Adedimeji and his wife Mo Bimpe celebrated each other on social media and in person with a luxury staycation.

11. Regina Daniels

Finally, actress Regina Daniels got surprised by her husband Ned Nwoko with a brand new car for Valentine's Day.
