Rathaur (Founder, Rathaur Classes, Patna, Chairman, G.D. Goenka Public School, Gaya/ KnowledgeGram International School, Patna). Let's find out what he has to say to his readers.

Q. How does it feel to be a published author?

It’s been incredible & indescribable to share my feelings. All I can say is I have created something extraordinary in my life which will certainly bring a tremendous positive change in people’s lives. Above all, people who are depressed & chronically stressed will definitely get a ray of hope and motivation to move up & succeed in their lives. It fills me with intense feeling of contentment.

Q. Tell us something about your book ‘Wisdom of Excellence: Live by Triumph not by Tragedy’

My book titled “Wisdom of Excellence: Live by Triumph not by Tragedy” is a scientific motivational book which motivates people to achieve their goals & instills strength in them to handle failure & conquer fear. As a matter of fact, it’s a practical tool to turn stumbling block into stepping stone. One who has lost himself deplorably can rise from strength to strength & achieve the noblest ends of human life after implementing the principles of my book.

Q. As a kid also you wanted to be a writer or it came to you later in life?

Frankly speaking, as a kid I had a great knack and wild obsession of writing but I was not aware of that. Because I was a passionate reader & writer, I felt a strong inner calling to write. I discovered myself, I explored myself and it went on. Apparently, I became an Author, Columnist & Content Writer.

Q. Tell us about your life and background a bit.

In the preliminary stage of my life, I was a lively and fun-loving kid. My parents gave me a good upbringing. But when I was in my teenage and struggling madly to strike a fine balance between my student life & personal life, nothing worked out for me. I didn’t get any proper guidance from anywhere. My life became painful to me and I lost myself badly. I failed consistently in every venture & a series of tragedies shattered my life completely. As far as my background is concerned, it is humble. I hail from a middle class family.

Q. Since when are you a motivational speaker? What triggered you to be one?

I had been a senior Teacher of English for over a decade. For the last five years, I have been learning, upgrading & preparing myself to become an electrifying Motivational Speaker. I am a lifelong learner. Frankly speaking, my own trials & tribulations, criticism, betrayal, rejection, failure & my painful experiences triggered me to become a Motivational Speaker. Today, I am passionate of people’s empowerment & transformation.

Q. What are you going to do next as a Motivational Speaker and Writer?

I have my goals in black & white. In the near future, I am being invited by schools & colleges for motivational sessions. I am also collaborating with many social institutions to arrange motivational seminars in the best interest of people. As a writer, I am working on two books. Very soon they will hit the market. Currently, my article gets published in Education Now-a-days & Corporate Insight. I am also trying to connect with magazines like India Today, Frontline & TOI to collaborate with.

DR. Abhishek Srivastava (Author/Motivational Speaker/Columnist) is a Visionary Man with a mission to transform the lives of people.

Q. Name your favorite books and writers.

It’s not possible to quote all the books because I have read more than 500 books so far. But if I have to name those books which are close to my heart, they are- ‘You are Unique’ by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, ‘The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success’ by Deepak Chopra & ‘You can win’ by Shiv Khera. My favorite writers are Mr. Shiv Khera, Brian Tracy & Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam.

Q. Who is your inspiration?

It’s next to impossible to quote one single name. However, I can quote few names-‘Brian Tracy, Joe Girard, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, Abraham Lincoln, Guru Gobind Singh are my idols. I draw inspiration from them.

Q. Your message to upcoming non-fiction writers and your followers.

Have faith in yourself & believe that you have tremendous power & energy. Be spontaneous in writing and offer solutions to the existing problems. Find out your niche, your competitive advantage, your unique signature strength of writing & dare to go beyond the unknown in a creative way. A little bit of mental toughness, self-discipline & determination are equally important.
