The sun was shining brightly. It was around midday and it was high in the sky. Bees and other questionable insects that you wouldn’t see in your day-to-day life were everywhere. They were in a field full of yellowish-orange flowers, so of course, there would be insects. There were no humans there, except for Kennedy and Devon. They were there. That’s because they made YouTube videos teaching people the danger of exploring abandoned places, by exploring abandoned places. It was most of the time counterproductive because they would have a lot of fun on those trips, but sometimes it worked. Today they were exploring a field of flowers, marigolds to be exact, they wanted to teach people about that and the two of them just loved the flowers a lot.

“This is not something we do every day, but we just wanted to show everyone what these beautiful flowers look like,” Devon said to the camera he was holding. For once the two of them were in normal attire. Usually, they explored abandoned places, so they wore pants, long sleeves, gloves and so much more, just so they wouldn’t get hurt at all. Abandoned places can be very dangerous. But today they were in “normal” attire. Devon had on a pink shirt with some white shorts. And Kennedy was wearing a hoodie and shorts. No clue why he was wearing a hoodie in one hundred and ten degrees (Fahrenheit) weather, he just was. And it was their merchandise for their youtube, so it was a plug as well.

“Ooo look at this one,” Kennedy said as he pointed at one. The two walked over to it. It was a golden yellow one. It stood out above the rest.

“That’s really pretty,” Devon said and Kennedy agreed with his best friend and the two just looked at the flower in awe, like it was the most interesting thing in the world.

“Did you know the flower (the marigold) blooms in colors like golden, orange, white, red, and yellow, but yellow and orange are the ones that are most commonly found? Commonly, the different types of marigold flowers are known as the “Herb of the Sun” and are a symbol of passion and creativity,” Kennedy said with a smile.

“Did you research that beforehand? If not good on you for remembering that and that's actually a really cool fact that people should know,” Devon said with a smile and he pats Kennedy’s back, which made Kennedy blush.

“I just remembered that from a class I took a while ago,” Kennedy said with a laugh. He then walked off to go look at another flower, so his friend wouldn’t see his blushing face. He also had a huge crush on his best friends. Like that was obvious to everyone who watched their videos, which they posted almost every day, but it wasn’t obvious to Devon and Kennedy was also sort of oblivious to the massive crush he had on his friend.

“Yeah I don’t remember anything from high school, or middle school, or elementary school. I only remember the joy of having you come to my elementary school and then a year later I had to move up to middle school, now that sucked. But other than that, my only memories are with you,” Devon said and that came out surprisingly very cute. Devon dropped out of college to become a YouTuber and do all that youtube work. It actually paid off. They got around 50 million views per video. And they had over 20 million subscribers. So it paid off big time. Devon could pay for necessities and pay for Kennedy’s expensive college tuition.

“Okay, well that’s all for today. This is barely ten minutes, so hopefully, it was long enough,” Devon said and the video ended.
