Caramel Plugg Reacts to Buju Calling Her Bad Word

Earlier this year, Nigerian singer Buju also known as BNXN and influencer, Caramel Plugg got into a back and forth online following a podcast that Caramel Plugg and her friends did. During the podcast, Caramel Plugg and her friends said a lot of things about dating, "broke men", women, and more, and a lot of people took offence to some of the things they said, while some just thought that the girls spoke without sense. Taking to his social media, Buju shared a clip from the podcast and wrote "Bruh who is sharing podcast mics to dimwits?".

Now, during a new interview with BTS Reality, Caramel Plugg is revisiting the incident after she was asked by the interviewer about how she felt about what Buju said about her. Here is what Caramel Plugg had to say.

Speaking about her relationship with Buju and her reaction to him calling her a "dimwit", Caramel Plugg said:

CARAMEL PLUGG: To be honest, it's just crazy because that encounter was the very first time I have ever had anything to do with Buju to be very honest. I have never seen him and spoken to him in person. Like, we have never crossed paths before. So when I am seeing Buju is on this matter, I'm like what is going on? What is happening? There was no beef or anything so when that happened, I was like what's going on here? What's really happening? What's really the issue here? So I didn't understand that for real. I know him as a singer, I don't know him personally. I have never spoken to him personally before, ever.

The interviewer then asked her "The funny part is that Buju was part of your boyfriend's team at some point. Wasn't he like crossing a line?" to which she said:

CARAMEL PLUGG: Obviously. Apparently he had done an interview where he had said that we were cool because of [the relationship he has with my boyfriend]. So I'm like if you guys are cool or whatever, that is disrespectful for you to even do that. That is very highly disrespectful. Why would you just take a clip and come and post that? That is disrespectful. It wasn't aimed at you, nobody called your name on it, why would you take a clip and post it and insult us? For what? We didn't call anybody's name. We didn't insult anybody. So I didn't understand where all that was coming from. I just thought maybe he had a bad day and he was looking for somewhere to pour his anger. Because it didn't make any sense to me. We didn't call his name.
